Tasteless and Artosis are coming to Columbus! Got home and saw this article. This makes me really freaking excited for Columbus.

For those of you who don't know who these guys are they're arguably the most renown SC2 casters in the world.

So discuss amongst your selves while I go outside and scream.

I actually really dislike Starcraft, for me its so boring to watch :/ But I guess if MLG gets more coverage then its not all bad. Furthermore, the day SC2 becomes the flagship MLG title over Halo i shall never associate with MLG again.

Too late man. SC2 just has a bigger community, fan base, and pulls in more people from around the world then Halo does.

The only bad part about it is unlike Halo not everyone can enjoy it because not everyone can understand it. Halo you can at least understand what people are doing even if it's your first time watching.

Day9 receives over 10k viewers a night and streams 5 days a week. NASL gets a little more than that. TSL 3 Finals had over 55k viewers. This all happens with multiple major tournaments going on weekly. NASL, GSL, TSL, Starwarz, IEM, IPL, MLG are a few Major tournaments all having between 5k to 100k prize pool, while Halo only has one. Because there are so many tournaments many people have to rely on replays to watch them all which receive ridiculous numbers of views. Day 9 episode 100 has over a million views. Not counting. I gaurentee on the MLG stream, starcraft bring over 5 times the amount of viewers than Halo and Cod combined.

Starcraft is the flagship game for MLG. It brings the money, the community just doesnt realize it yet because the starcraft fans post on teamliquid.net which is 10x more active than the mlg and tln forums combined. This is all coming from a diehard halo fan who has competed in many events and placed top 32 a couple of times, but it doesnt take a rocket scientist to realize starcraft 2 is the future of MLG and eSports in general. Halo will be here for years to come, but starcraft 2 is where the future is, and no new halo or any console game is going to change that.

I woke up after an exausting day at work, got home and fell asleep at 7pm... Wake up and watch this and i say... No way... ScReddit is trolling me again.

See the Link to the MLG artical, and nearly wet myself with excitement.

For those of you who do not know, Daystosis9 actually cast Blizzcon each year, and it is simply amazing.
