lately my chat hasn't worked well. I'm able to talk and my friends can hear me, but I can't hear them. Any suggestions?

This may sound simple and such but just all i got. You check your voice settings and sound settings and everything? and make sure everything is plugged in for the headset properly?

I'm with you bro. I had the 31s as a birthday gift and they were lasting me a while. I think it might just be the chat wire, but if not, time to shell out the money for the Astros.

what isnt wrong with Turtle Beaches... They need better hear phones, my hears always hurt when i use them. Its all about Trittons haha

^This. I have this STUPID headset also, and when some thing like this happens I usually unplug everything, then plug it back in. Works fine.

I've tried it a few times and I normally can get some sound if I angle it a certain way, but now it's not working at all and just pissing me off to no end. *Sigh*

Sounds like you're having issues with the talkback cable to me. Just email them at [email protected] and they'll take care of you. When I needed help with my X41, they were great and super quick about taking care of the issue.
