TourneyRaffle?

So...

I've been dying to go to a pro tournament for years now, just none are ever close enough to me and its expensive to fly, plus hotel and all that jive.

But...

What if TLN did a raffle to a tournament? We all put in 5, 10 bucks or whatever, then do a live stream drawing or something, and winner gets the total money for a tourney? Or Mr P gets the tickets and all that and the winner gets the tickets. (that way it doesnt' just become a "ah hah i got the money now" thing)

What do you guys think? I guess there's always the worry about fairness and all that, but man i'd throw down for a chance to see the pros.

Heck i'd through down for a lan visit, but thats probably a much more exclusive thing. Although man i'd love to commentate one of those bad boys, i've been dying to commentate on a pro game(think about all those games that have no commentator at all!). Chris Puckett is the best no doubt, but i've been watching for enough years to do some good entertaining commentating

Good idea's we will see, but I like the idea of contests to win chances to go to a LAN or a MLG Tourney !!

I'd actually rather go to one of TLN's 6-team LANs than an event. It would be much more fun, and probably would be the best weekend of my life. :D

This would be a very cool thing to do.

Definitely going to a Lan would be sick. You'd get to see way more games featuring the top players.

i like the idea of going to a 6 team lan and would definately suggest making it for the last event in dallas..... I personally would love to go to the last halo 3 team lan.....Also if maybe you did 4 people that way they could team up and play the pros and get constructive criticism on their gameplay .....it would be a trip of a lifetime and also a combine in the same sense......another idea would offer combines at TLN .....just another idea

i remember i use to get on a website called MLG Insider ran by a man named Trent hes a good buddy of mine he held a contest that flew someone out to the SummerLan i droped like $200 into that contest (never won lol) but i got really excited so to get that chance again and maybe win would be a DREAM!
