I just saw the movie today since I saw it in Barnes and Noble and it was totally awesome, I remember watching it as a kid and I was so happy to find it. I must recommend it to all of you because it is fun and some the stuff in it is absolutely hilarious, and the costumes are pretty funny too. (It's on Netflix but you have to rent the DVD)

Yeah that's this one I think, it's real life and came out in '95

But it's kinda dark for Disney

Wait, live action or animated. Cuz I remember the live action movie being one of the biggest flops of all time, and a huge insult to Mario fans everywhere.

It was a big flop, but it developed into a cult classic, and my family who have all player Mario for years love it. You have to take the reviews with a grain of salt.
