Favourite Pro and why.

Hey there, im just wandering who everyone's favourite pro is and their reasoning behind it :D

Mine is T2 because not only is he an amazing player but he has stayed true to MLG since its second event, always has the immense drive to win, gives back to the community and has his infamous backsmacks WOOOOO!!! :D

Roy. He's the best overall player in the game. Instinct's been my favorite team since I started watching MLG during Halo 3.

That may come across as lame and predictable but man he was the first pro I ever saw and he just blew my mind. Walshy for life.

Karma. In my opinion he has one of the best shots in the game with a Br/Dmr. He does excellent objective and also is a great support player. Plus he doesn't take it over the top and trash talk a lot. Most of the time I've seen him he has been calm while playing. Plus going undefeated in a 1v1 series. Great team work and can hold his own by himself.

I got two favorites and one would be neighbor just because the swag he carries. He doesnt mind to talk trash and definately backs it up. I also am a big fan of best man...I think he is one of the most undertalked about player. He can play any gamestyle and is just an overall great player.....and yes walshy was typical lol

Second on my list is the entire Final Boss team. Played with a few of them on live and they're fun to play with.

My favorite pro is definitely BEST MAN, he went from being an FFA kid in h2, to a well respected pro in h3. His awareness is pretty sick and he is a very unselfish player. I wish people would give him more credit.

I would have to say Lunchbox, because he is the unsung hero of Instinct. He doesn't seem to get as much credit as he deserves, but that doesn't seem to bother him in anyway. He has respect for his team, opponents, fans, and himself, this being the reason I have the uttermost respect for him. :)

I is so consistent every event, does whatever his team needs to get a win. Also he is funny to listen to at lans and one of the most humble players in the game. I don't think anyone has anything bad to say about Victory

T2 hands down. From day ONE (of my watching mlg) he has stood out as just the type of player that makes MLG big. Not just the skill, cuz obviously alot of players have that and more skill. But he interviews strong, the crowd loves him, great to the fans, and he just has done so much for the community.

I mean just being on the Dr Pepper can for MLG gave the community such a great shout out to all those people who may never even have heard of competitive gaming. Then they go and see a player like T2 who stands out so well against what most people consider the stereotypcial player and represents us gamers well

Plus the dude is a brillant captain, intense competitor, and champion to the core.

He got trash talked pretty bad from the MLG community when he left str8, with people calling him a team-killer and such, and people saying he's much inferior to snipedown or w/e. But he managed to keep his head in the game and deliver amazing performances over and over again, winning back the respect of people who once doubted him, that's why he's my favorite pro.

naded, hands down, money down, whatever else you can put down, down. he is a monster i can't believe he doesn't have a tourney win yet b/c he has been one of the best in the league for years, ever since i started following the league he instantly became my favorite player, his energy is contagious, and i can't wait to see him and T2 play on the same team...its gonna get pumped up as hell

Roy is my favourite Pro player because of his steady shot, awesome communication and upstanding sportsmanship and respect for other players. Although I like seeing flashy plays in Top 10s and montages I actually prefer watching steady, supportive, team-based gameplay and Roy serves that up by the bucket full. :)

Naded hands down. I've been a huge Naded fan since he was a 16 year old rockin the beanie and glasses on Storm Ventures, and its crazy to see how much raw skill this guy has. He's a game-changer and I love everything about his game. He's so aggressive, plays with complete confidence in his abilities, and of course he gets in the trash talk.

I've been keeping up with professional halo since 2003, so I've accumulated quite a few favorites.

Halo 1: Zyos - After getting knocked out by him and 2pac in my first AGP event, and really seeing what level of skill professional gamers were on at that point, this guy gave me a whole new respect for the game, and really gave me my drive to become a better player.

OGRES: Watching StK vs TDT on chillout, on that shaky cam vid at some random AGP, and seeing the OGRES carry doug and clock and just go nasty on TDT, really got me hooked on competitive gaming.

Halo 2: StrongSide - Not only is he a fellow Kentuckian, but this kid came out of nowhere in H2 and just destroyed everything. Also, we have very similar play styles, and I enjoy watching his gameplay alot.

Halo 3: Mackeo - I've never laughed so hard at someones facial expressions in my life.

RyaNoob - This kids dirty, and it's always entertaining to see him wrecking pro's on main stage.

Halo Reach: StrongSide is looking pretty solid in this game, I think Reach will work out more towards his aggressive playstyle, I've also heard good things about Robbie B, but haven't seen any footage yet.

Snake Bite , i played with him online alot, did better then more of the pro's i played with (Sypher/StrongSide/MudVayne/Chig/Roy) He has great sportsmanship and i hope to see him go further into MLG and hit top 5, and he is on my Favorite Team [ UoR Warriors ]

T2 cuz he is a beast and the reason y i play MLG and ToTz cuz he took the time out to be kind to me as a fan talked to me played Matches and then at the Chi combine hung out for a few mins and just chatted it up proving he cares about fans and stuff.

I love watching naded because his sniper is unbelievably steady and if he catches fire its hard to shut him down no matter who you are and I love watching roy destroy other pros with his br.

Favorite Pro: ROY
Why: Mainly his consistency to be able to perform well. Its rare you watch him play an "off game" even when his team is losing. All around he does a fantastic job moving properly through the map to help team setups and he can make big plays seems like nothing.

Favourite Pro is easily a tie between Elamite Warrior, and Flamesword with Robbie B in a close 3rd (I think thats how it works)
Elamite and Flamesword are probably my favourites because Elamite has some of the greatest map movement I have ever seen and Flamesword is one of the most vocal leaders of a team I have seen. I liked how when Side joined sQ, that Flame just learned as MUCH as he could and Totz, Flame, and Ace are where they are now because of it.

Robbie comes in third cause he just straight up beasts on everyone and he finally has a good shot with this Warriors lineup.

Roy better beat Naded to 10 points. He has a pretty large fan base.

Naded has classic fans and most of the MLG staff on his Booty but Roy has the newer genaration rockin his fandom i think that both are great players but i like Roy better than Naded mostly out of game respect over in game skill. Naded has never seemed to be a kind and respectful player and i cant stand that when people make enemies in the real world cuz of in game happinstance. Roy pays respect when he wins and loses and keeps his Trash talk to in game/scoreboard. Naded decides to "Crap" on teammates/rivals alike at all times. I call it the tD effect. i look at Mason and Hyst and think to my self how jerky can these kids get. now i have seen mason in interviews and he seems to be very nice and timid in them also hes kinda funny. but at tourneys i have heard stories of him blowing off fans and being pretty rude. i think if your gonna have the title PRO you need to treat fans who look up to you with respect cuz with out them you would not have your so called Celeb Status. now final words

The Ogres, they got me into halo.


Ogre2 has been at the top for 7/8 years. He plays the game in a way I wish I could. His map positioning, team shot, snipes, objective work while going positive is just utter awesomeness. Voted the best player all three years in h2.

Of all time, Walshy. Guy who got me into MLG, he blew my mind back then, I loved to watch him play, loved his personality, and respect everything he's done to try and grow the game. Nowadays there are a lot of Pro's I have respect for and love to watch, but my favorite at this moment is Totz. I love that people hate on him for his low K.D, yet he is such an unbelievable teammate, crazy good support player, awesome objective player, and the key that allows Triggers Domination to be a top 4 team.

Roy and Lunch have always been. you have really never heard anything bad about them. You can't say they haven't dogged teammates because everyone does. I remember them doggin soviet before as well as I heard Roy dogged Neighbor. They go to tournaments though and they get the job done and from getting the chance to meet them and be able to talk to them they are pretty cool people and are the kind of guys I would enjoy to hang out with.

After reading the Kwame blog I got to put Elam brothers up there as well. What they did for Kwame is something truly thoughtful and genuine and I gained a lot of respect which was already a lot for them from reading that post.

Not that i'm trying to start an MLG arguement, but when you have Captains like T2 and Walshy, and great leaders like Elamite and Ogre - Just to name a couple in both areas, i'd be hard pressed to put Flamesword as best captain in the game.

IMO T2 holds that distinction quite strongly.

I don't think anyone knew this, but I'm not trying to be twins with Shelly, but I actually have been a big fan Snipedown since he first broke out. The kid has some unreal talent. I'm just waiting for him to re-emerge in Reach.

My next favorite would probably be Totz, because (when I'm not being lazy) I play just like he does. He is a big communicator, and completely disregards stats for the sake of helping his team out the best he can. And honestly, he's one of the funniest personalities on the Pro Circuit.

The last I wanna mention is Legit. The guy is a beast. And there is nothing quite the same as "Angry Legit" mode. When he gets in a groove, he's going off on kids. Also he's a chill guy, and I was the first guy to ask him for an autograph at MLG Dallas (saturday evening was when I got it, and he told me that apparently people didn't know he was at the event, haha.).

He left high school... not college. IMO it was much bigger risk than leaving college. Its difficult to get a solid job without a college degree. Its nearly impossible to get a solid job without a high school diploma. And his "raging" just shows his passion for the game.

Pistola: He is absolutely amazing at Halo first off, second off he's so energetic and funny and he's got such a cool personality. And lastly, I got a picture with him in DC and he was really nice!

SK would have to be a close second. Just because he is so nice. I have played with him several times in CoD (I will get to that in a second) and he just talked to us like he was a normal guy, answered a few questions, and I was so shocked at what a great guy he was!

Okay so the first time I played with SK was when we and my friends got bored with Reach for an hour and went to screw around in CoD GB. We played his team. The second time, we played with Mohnics (hopefully spelled right) from Hot n Mild in an MLG game, and stalked his friends list. We saw SK's game was joinable on CoD so we went and joined his pub match! Lol. I'm not a stalker...

Honestly, Ogre 2 is my choice. I remember watching him back in the day. He gets so pumped when things go right. LFG!!! Most of the other classics have not left the same impression on me accept T2. Great thing is that I'm going to the PVJ in March and I'll get to hangout and play with or against them in Reach.

I like his play style and hes a really nice guy. One of the only pros that has actually taken time out to talk to me and give me some pointers. Not so crazy about him on Warriors because ever since goofy/areallygoodnoob teamed on Warriors i just have had a grudge against it.
