I suppose I should just make an all-out thread on this. Some of you may have caught a glimpse of bits and pieces of the info in some of my previous posts, so this may be redundant, but there's some new information as well that should be a welcome addition to what I've already said.

So here goes nothin'...

It's time again for the Tech-Node Lan Party Gaming Extravaganza and whatnot.
We will be holding it at the same location as last time for those who were there.
As always this is an event for both PC and CONSOLE Gamers.
We have separate areas for each group to setup their gear and compete against your friends old and new.
We will be having door prize drawings, tournaments, and mini games throughout the evening. Hope to see you there.

Dates: _______ (yes, please :rolleyes: )

* July 23rd, 2011
* Check-in starts at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday (7/23/2011)
* Doors close for tear-down at 10 AM on Sunday (7/24/2011)
* We will be running games all night long!

Location:

* Holiday Inn Express Macon North

We accept PayPal and cash. Every paid entry fee will receive a ticket for the door prize drawings, as well as a special gift.

Competitions / Prizes:

* Right now the details of tournaments and prizes are still TBA
* We have several sponsors lined up with prizes and usually have cash tournaments as well.
* Will be releasing details about the tourney prizes as the event draws closer.
* As always we have door prize drawings along with the competition prizes.
* Check out our photo gallery of past events to see some of our prizes.

Game Tournaments:

* Elliot at Flashover Games will be running our tournament brackets this time around.
* Which games we will be having organized tournaments is TBD
* Halo:Reach is always our biggest event
* Would like to run Call Of Duty and Starcraft 2 events as well depending on interest.
* Let us know in the forums (here, or even on our site) if there are any other games you want to see played.

6/02 UPDATE:Updates on some of the tourney prizes and giveaways. (http://tech-node.org/index.php/forum/10-halo/8-re-prize-news)
"Our sponsor at Flashover Games has let us know the prizes they will be offering for the Halo Tournament participants. We'll have a pair of Astro Headphones Mix Amp included, 2 pair of Gunnar Gaming Glasses, 2 new games TBD. These are some pretty high dollar prizes and should be some good competition for them. Better start training."

6/03 UPDATE:I've been informed we've picked up Cooler Master (http://www.coolermaster.com/), and their gaming division CM Storm (http://www.cmstorm.com/en/start/), as well as Velocity Micro (http://www.velocitymicro.com/affiliate/idevaffiliate.php?id=472_6_1_23) as sponsors. We loves the stuff we got from CoolerMaster last time, a couple of shiny new HAF 932 cases. They've been very nice to us in the past and I can't wait to see what we get this time around! In the past we also got a GTX460 graphics card and WoW themed gaming mouse. Some high dollar top quality stuff there.

I'd also like to give a thanks to you guys. Our analytics has shown more hits to our site originating from this forum alone than any other site we've posted it on [except google search results] by nearly 50% more than it's closest "rival". It's become obvious where the true gaming community supporters are, and we all appreciate it.

LOL they didn't have to, each thread has 60+ views and we had nearly 100 hits on our site yesterday alone. All the info is there, no one has to post here.

You're just jelly.

Not sure if anyone here is interested in coming, but if you are, please let me know.

We're getting down to the wire and things are really getting rolling for us...

Since we plan to have some tournaments, hopefully 4v4's, if you have a team set ahead of time, and you let me know, we can get the brackets built ahead of time and reduce the registration and waiting around before things start getting awesome.

Also, since we don't have any type of pre-registration, and have no way of knowing what our attendance will look like, IF you have a to4, and we end up not having enough people to run a 4's tournament, please have at least an idea in mind of how you'd like to break up into to2's for a 2v2, again, just so we can jump into the action that much faster!

I've come across quite a few GA people in this forum and I hope you guys will give us the same type of support as you all give TLN. Hope to see you guys there, it's going to be a blast!

Silently, it waits.
