More than half of the 343i co is made up of the guys who brought us Halo 2, and Halo 3. When Derrick and Sage came into the Bungie company they brought us Halo Reach. You see Microsoft bought out Fasa (makers of Shadow Run) and employed them at Bungie.

I am actually extremely happy Bungie is not involved anymore. Now that 343i is in charge and made up of the guys who brought us the almighty Halo 2, and 3! It's the best news! No more Shadow Run guys on a Halo game!

Im really exited although Im sad sage wont be around for halo 4, reach has the best sandbox balance in my opinion and thats what he was in charge with. Like previously said though most of the guys from 343 have been involved with halo before and I am much less worried about this game than I am the Halo 1 remake

Hopefully 343 realizes a few things. If they're going to go back to the BR (which I'm assuming they will), do not think about the H3 BR when doing so. Also, if they rewind back to the basic/stale H3 gameplay I will facepalm.

I liked the attachment Master Chief put on his Pistol at the end of the video. Maybe 343 will give us a more powerful Pistol.

343 knows about Bungie's record for custom options. I'm not worried at all. There will be plenty of custom options to make things how you want them.

Maybe 343 will one-up Bungie and give us something we've been asking for since... forever. Individual weapon damage modifiers please. Couple that with something like Forge World except not as big and instead more efficient... MLG could THEN turn it into one of the best Halo games we've had on the circuit.

Isnt 343 the studio that is branched off from previous bungie employees so they can keep making the halo series the great series that it is, with shiska there i highly doubt you will see some sort of COD input into this but more of the stick to the script halo that we know but improved greatly. They do listen to the fan base and I believe halo 4 will be very good and will satisfy the fan base as a whole, not just the noobs.

When I heard about Halo 4 I was like damn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so into the story is crazy I can't wait Intel this comes out.
Think about how MLG will change more with this new game plus MW3 will change for the COD Players. New Maps from Salot and other great Forgers. Maybe a new ranking system for the hardcore fans like us. I can't wait to play this with my team or a new team. So far so good in the trailer

All I want to say is, to those whom loved their beloved bloom and low gravity stick to Reach. With out Sage and Derrick being there I highly doubt H4 will have a bloom. If you ck some of my older post you will see i constantly said "I will wait patiently for Halo 4 instead of having to put up with that freakin bloom" I am SOOO glad it will be sooner than expected!

So for those whom told me if you don't like Reach don't play it (which I haven't). I now say to them "If you love your bloom so much stick with Reach then :)"

I would like BxR, BxB, Dub shots, but I know that will never happen.

How about some good maps that have gotten absolutely awful since Halo. Every map in Halo 2 was amazing. Halo 3 only had Narrows, Pit, Guardian, Construct and Heretic (I know H2 map). Halo Reach honestly only has Zealot and Countdown and they wouldn't even make my top 15 all-time favorite Halo maps. I'm sick of Forge World grey more than anything and ready for some quality made maps.

I really think 343 will do an excellent job with Halo 4. Bungie ended up blowing more and more ass as a industry with each game. I think 343 will come out and incorporate some old school elements (Halo CE and Halo 2) for the people who have been around since the beginning along with some new school elements to keep the newer and more social players around.

i definitely want halo 4 to feel a lot like halo 2. halo 2 is the most fun to play imo. i wouldn't mind a BR or DMR, as long as there's no bloom and the shots are consistent. i also want the sniper to be like halo 2 or 3, maybe halo 3 because it's a bit more skillful. It already looks like there's gonna be armor abilities, but hopefully there will be good maps where we won't need jetpacks and sprint. I think 343 will do better with the maps than bungie did in reach. TBH i don't think it'll be too hard to make a game that's more fun to play and less frustrating than Reach, but i hope it will compare to the fun i get from halo 2.

That was a pistol? It looked like the grenade launcher from Reach cause when he shot it it cracked open then when he reloaded it it snapped back into place. Plus there was an explosion when he shot it.

Well they either take it off; or as Starcraft now has 2 streams and Halo is/was the more prominent of a game for MLG give Halo 2-3.

Beginning of 2012 make it two streams and competitions for both Halo CE and Halo Reach. Then in 2013 after the release of Halo 4 keep or cut one of the other Halo's, make it Halo 4 and CE or Halo 4 and Reach, depending on success of either game.

I can't see many other people seeing the merit of reintroducing Halo CE, but it has been a great competitive title in the past. If 343 only revamp the maps, I think it will struggle. Some of the game mechanics now will feel a little clunky, with a little tweaking I think it could easily compete with major titles today.

3 new Halo's could be stretching it, but for now i am ecstatic with the news of a revamped CE and Halo 4.

halo CE wont have a stream for MLG because its only the campaign and additional maps that will work in reach. its really just a multiplayer add on. not a stand alone game.

There are a few Halo 3 people in there as well as quite a few Infinity Ward employees that worked on the real MW series.

CE doesn't have multiplayer it's already been announced to be like ODST: Separate campaign with Reach multiplayer maps.

I can't wait for everyone to hate this game once it's released also. When everyone talks it up so much, if everything you want isn't in it you just disappoint yourselves. Take it easy, there is a lot of time before this comes out. Getting yourselves all excited now will just set you up for disappointment on its release. I personally like Reach, and think both circuit events have been awesome!! I think people just need to stop bltching about bloom. The Pros and top AM's seem to be okay with it. You get times where the bloom really sucks, but people said the same things with the BR spray also.

You're right, it's definitely not a pistol, it's some kind of mini missile launcher. it looks pretty cool.

I have played PC games where Bloom is a staple of games. It was introduced into Halo and people find it too hard to deal with. But because it is something that i have learned to deal with i find it a fantastic way of finding the chaff from the awesome people. Granted games such as Counter Strike will have people spam the trigger aswell and it will sometimes work but more often than not, the person who burst fires or controls the trigger will win over the spammer.

I learned to deal with it, Being UK based i found it hard to find a decent host. So its more about timing than ever. One of the reasons my LR BR was terrible in H3 couldn't deal with the pings

bloom ruins my online experience. i have the worst shot registration, i pace my shots perfectly, and even when i have host, my long distance shots do not register unless i am scoped in, but other people seem to have no trouble spam-five-ing me in the head. Bloom is BAD. end of story.
