For those of you who own gunnars I am wondering if they are worth the money? I will primarily use them for my internship that involves me being in front of a computer screen for 7 hours at a time, but would also use them for gaming. I do get slight headaches at my internship after a while and I guess the main point of this thread is to gain some feedback from those who have and use gunnars on whether I should invest or not.

Thanks

They are wonderful...slightly goofy looking on some people....but they really reduce strain and keep your eyes feeling fresh!!

I have invested in some gunnars, and they have definitely helped me out. I wear contacts all the time, so it helps me out tremendously when I wear gunnars. My contacts don't dry out and go out of focus while I am gaming, or using my computer.

I recently invested in a pair and so far I really like them. Like you, I spend a lot of time in front of my computer/tv. I feel like I can see more clearly while wearing them and my eyes don't feel the usual strain after multiple hours of screen-gazing.

I sometimes monitor patients in the ICU and stare at couple of monitors checking their heart rhythm's hours at a time, but too me I have had no eye problems as many say. I wouldn't suggest them tbh, it's like these new shades that have come out where you see the world in HD.

I just think it's another way for them to make a buck. I'm not falling for it. If you want I could ask one of the doctors where I work if they believe it would actually help out.

Since were on the subject...which, in your opinion, is the best pair to get style wise obviously

Gunnars help the most during long gaming sessions. if your on for only an hour or so you won't really tell a difference.

I used to use something similar, A pair of Steel Series glasses.

However i have to wear prescription glasses aswell, so they were a hindrance if anything. But for people with better eyesight than mine they would probs be worth it.

As a ex gunnar user, I think that it is all the advertising that makes you THINK it helps. The general public then follows the "testimonies" of other users. The only thing I felt that it helped me with is seeing Camo

I use phantoms. They work well. No eye strain! :)

I have two friends that have a pair, and both of them never even wear theirs anymore. They said they didn't do anything at all for them, and felt like they wasted money on them.

Can't go wrong with the Phantoms, nice frame style while sportin' the MLG logo.
