Monitor Help Plz

I have the Asus vh236h monitor, an xbox 360 250g elite and astro a40 gaming set with mixamp. How i make work? Vga or Hdmi? Im just slightly confused...im fail....anyone help plz?

Either way is fine. However, if you want the surround sound in the Astros, you will need the VGA cable since I don't believe the 360 Elites had built in optic out ports. I could be wrong though.

The part im most confused about is the audio. The vga cable has the red/white connections and the monitor only has green(audio in) so...there is no way around it...i have to use the red/white into green adapter? Cuz i had an HD Toslink cable but it wont work on the monitor =(

u can plug the red and white part of the cable into the back of the mix amp. or you can use an optical cable to plug into the back of the mix amp and into the end of the vga cable where it plugs into the xbox. either way will give u sound with the astros
