Points, How do they work?

Hey guys, i was watching the twitter wars last night, as im sure alot of you guys were. And im curious as to how points REALLY work. if someone could explain this to me, that would be awesome.

PS - is it true that you get points for dating a pro?

hahaha no on the dating thing.

you can find a thread on the points on this site and mlg. but basically points work as a ranking system. players get points not teams. and the team with the most points combined from each players get the higher placing.

You also get them for playing LBR6 or higher.

Along with event points, there are Online Qualifier points. These points are worth less than event points, but can still boost a seed. Here is how it works.

Team 1: 1 Event Point
Team 2: 1600 Online Qualifier points
Team 3: 0 Points

The seeds would be like this

This is because 2,000,000 online qualifier points are still less than 1 Event point. You get event points by getting to (I think) LBR6 or higher.

So I could play in online qualifier all I want and it wouldn't make a difference?
