So I tried to use the search bar but it kept giving me a 404 so I just posted this.

Does anyone here have one of these? And if so, do you like it? I am thinking about getting one but I was wondering how good they were. Also, are they just naturally no slow?

If anyone can talk to me about these controllers I would greatly appreciate it! :)

Because they are not made by MS they don't have Slow Problems. The Slowing problems were caused by the way MS produce the boards. - Meh... I heard that had No Slow as standard \_(ツ)_/

As for Reccomendations i suggest this
http://www.play.com/PC/PCs/4-/19267516/Razer-Onza-Tournament-Edition-Gaming-Controller-for-Xbox-360/Product.html?searchtype=allproducts&searchsource=0&searchstring=razer+onza&urlrefer=search

Play.com is where i get all my reviews for products from.

Hey,

I got mine as soon as they came out and I loved it from the start besides a few changes I had to get used to.
The triggers felt strange but I got over that in a few days of playing. The mappable buttons are brilliant (I changed my left one to ‘X’ and my right one to ‘Back’ so I never had to take my thumbs off the joysticks.
I did have a problem with one of the joysticks after about a month of playing (it had a slight twitch without me touching it so it kept making my reticule look down.) I returned it and my new one has a bit of a slow turn so I’m going to take it apart and sand it down a bit but my first one was a perfect no slow. (I’m guessing they’re the same as the Microsoft ones for no slow reliability). Sorry for the long winded answer. Hope this helps!

Mine had to be corrected as it had slow turn. I found others who claimed the same on various forums when I first got mine. You can grind it out the same way as you do MS controllers.

I like it. The tension seems to help me. I only use one extra button for armor ability. This helps as I play bumper jumper. I can't figure out a good use for the 2nd button. Sometimes I hit the extra buttons by mistake because of their placement. People complain about the trigger length but I am not bothered by it.

The onza is not good. I cant play well with it. The joysticks are so loose that you cant aim right, and if you up the tension then it slow turns like crazy. It also has a delayed turn, like when you look to the left, it starts really slow, but speeds up after a couple of seconds, which is super annoying. Also, the joysticks are fairly high and hard to click, which makes quickscoping more difficult. Besides the sticks, i like the onza, except when i squeeze it, it makes a cracking sound, like im gonna break it. Basically, the onza has more bad than good, and i would not recommend it.

My brother loves his. I never really gave it a try myself, but he likes several aspects they come with. Also he swears it would have been the best thing to happen back in Halo 2 days.

The bigger question here is whats with the 404 error message I get it too and it pisses me off to no extent

I borrowed my friend's Onza for a couple of weeks and loved it. I was gonna buy it off of him cheap because he personally hated it. However, I am a much bigger and better CoD player than I am Halo so I didn't buy it. For Halo I felt like it really helped me a lot. Like Locus said, the mappable buttons are just a huge advantage and I put mine on X (Armor Ability) and B (Reload) so I never had to take my thumbs off the joysticks either. For CoD the buttons were honestly unnecessary and got in my way more than anything.

If you do decide to buy this, please keep in mind it is a very different controller and that your first few games are probably gonna be rough. Give it some time to get used to everything and I think you'll really enjoy it, but you have to give it a chance.

This controller is REALLY hard to ajust to. It is a standered no slow but it takes time ajusting because it is so diffrent from MS.

I tried using a friends when i as it at the TLN house. Let me say that it has a much worse reputation that it deserves. That being said, I would not switch over to it at all. It just feels weird to hold. The triggers have this weird slant to it that I really dont like and I cant see the use in the "adjustable tightness" of the sticks. Also, the ABXY buttons are smaller and protrude less than the on the regular controllers, the fact that they light up doesnt make up for this IMO.

only good thing IMO is the ability of mapping of the buttons. If you want to here a review from someone who likes the controller and is actually a decent player, Message NBK. im not sure if his profile is VVV NBK or just NBK. either way Good Luck :)
