Welcome to the Lan Network's Official Halo Reach League.

For the people who want to join a tournament scroll to the bottom of this post for links to threads for the tournaments. If you want to create a tournament please keep reading.

This forum will consist of any and all online Halo Reach tournaments that are created on the TLN forums. With links to the various threads that will come shortly.

Currently all tournaments are FREE to enter, how ever prizes will be limited. But teams will gain points through out all similar tournaments (2v2 tournaments points stay in 2v2, ect.). The points will be posted on this thread here, to keep record.


Any one may host a tournament, but please notify me before posting it. An reason why is so that we don't have Multiple 4v4 tournaments going on that can conflict with another tournament. All tournaments during June-August should be no longer then 1 week long.(unless timing conflicts ie. 500 teams)

ahhh i thought your making an actual league. where teams sign up and compete against each other in schedule matches :(

The tournaments will be Using v4 settings until a full set for v5 is released, unless another member wants to run an event with v5 settings. I'm fine with either, just as long as it is MLG.

Wierdo I'm doing that in about 10 min I want to finish this thread before I Post the 4v4 thread.

So what I'm getting from this is that no one can host a tournament without telling you. That you're giving point out based on your tournament and anyone else who has a tournament when they have one.

So now onto my questions:

1)How will the point system work if the tournament are still 4v4, 2v2, so on and so forth. If the tournaments are structured different?

2)You mention prizes. Prizes based off point scoring of certain placings of teams in certain tournaments?

3)What happens when certain players are on different teams for different tournaments? So they hold "team seeds" such as in MLG? Not that it would make sense because team names and players change once every month it seems.

4)This relates to my previous question. Free agents such as mentioned in your own tournament thread. What happens to them exactly? Do they hold specific points for themselves? Or do their earned points go to the team they were on?
Example: Let's say I win a tournament on a team. Then another 4v4 tournament I just join a completely new made up team. Do I still have points from the prior tournament or did I just start anew?

I've got others but I'll stop there. The only reason I'm asking is because if I don't someone else will, and if they don't then you'll have problems down the road.

2. Prizes for tournaments are donated, unless there is an entry fee(maybe $5 per team), but this is still yet to be determined, going to talk to a few people and see what kind of prizes we can get,

3. Teams Seeds are determined by player point averages, and other factors.

4. Players maintain points, I will be keeping a private record of all the points through out the year.
