I am unsure whether with update is now live, or will be throughout the day.

However it still seems, in order to track down a specific match from a previous event will be tricky. As the only subsections are by event and day, not via title. So all the videos are unorganised.

With the removal of MrGlobalHD's channel, for the fans its one step forward and two steps back. For MLG, well at least they are trying.

The whole farce of MLG.tv is ridicuous. The fact that some random (sorry Global, it sounds much better this way) can do a better job than than a company of MLG's size is laughable. Global did MLG a favour for many years, if it wasn't for him many newer fans would not have been able to Final Boss dominate with the Ogre twins, walshy and Saiyan/Strongside. Wouldn't have been able to see how MLG got started in Halo CE. Get Global in at MLG to fix your crappy MLG.tv then give him a huge ammount of money for the work, as those you have running it now are terrible.

Its ok, MrGlobals channel was great. If you went into the playlist you could pick an event and it would tie all the videos together in order. Literally all you had to do after one video was click the fullscreen button.

However there is nothing that can be done now, no matter how loud we shout. No matter how you look at it, it was a copyright issue.

I don't. But we all already have a thread on this. I like how the day after I state they've been updating stuff and that they're probably about to have serious changes, some change happens. Knew Sundance wasn't just doing it out of spite.

I didn't want the MrGlobal thing to be primary the topic in this thread as there is another.

The question is, is it cause and effect? MrGlobals channel gets taken down, MLG thinks sh*t, we probably should make some tweaks so that it wasn't done out of spite...? However I doubt their turn-around for an update is that quick.

Scrub the user uploadable videos though, they ought to get cracking on previous events [2007-2008-2009], and work on organising the content better.

Turning it to Global was my fault, sorry.
I do hope MLG.tv get their vids into some order, am glad they are making changes too.
Eventually i'm sure MLG.tv will be awesome, and you'll be able to find any game from any series whether it be from 07 or the latest tourni.

It's okay, the one thing I will actually miss is all the old games. I doubt they will bring those back in MLG.tv

Hmmm a DVD sounds like a good idea.
If they don't do that i hope they do put up the old tournaments, it's great to go back and watch those games.

I was mever interested in any of the "Special" Features. User submitted content works better on Youtube anyway.

I just want to be able to watch VoD's from Events within 2 or 3 days of the event happening, i don't want to have to wait sometimes upto a month before a Starcraft 2 Match i want to watch is posted.
I would also like for it to simply work as intended in Europe. I can't count the number of times it has either restarted a video or just died mid VoD for me.

Working as intended is far more pressing matter for me rather than a Reddit Style Upboating system.

I agree with the time delay. Can't say i've ever had a VOD restart or just die on me though.

I can't recall ever having this issue myself, however MLG.TV was never my primary source of VoD.

I'm sure that if MLG are making serious changes then most if not all problems will be fixed

What I don't like, is that most of the VoD's on mlg.tv are only one POV. Global had the actual broadcast. I love watching halo with Puckett commentating. No better way to watch Halo.

Just the gameplay gets boring. You don't get the whole effect. MLG needs Global, or at least his organization schema.

I tried to do my own dvd type thing a year ago, it worked well but it was difficult to "borrow" the vod's from mlg. i got quite a few but their security got the best of me.

overall i hope the changes mlg makes will make it easier for us to watch vod, i stopped going to mlg.tv a long time ago cause of how annoying the layout was.

MLG.tv is a joke. I have stopped watching rebroadcasts of past events because it is set up to badly. The only time I watched matches were from Globals channel. Hopefully they can fix the new layout, or even bring back the old one. *sigh*
