They are probably going to use the Acer monitors they have been giving out to the Dr. Pepper UGH winners. I think they are like 1ms response.

I'll just note this right now: I personally use a synaps 24" Monitor (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=4774495&CatId=4420) connected through VGA with 1920x1080 resolution.
And if you wanted to get an idea of where price points might be, I have taken the 2010 Equipment thread from the MLGPro forums (found HERE (http://www.mlgpro.com/forum/showthread.php?t=310847)) and placed it here on TLN in this post. All credit goes to SteggyB (Moderator on the MLG Forums)

Sorry, I got confused with a sick Acer monitor a friend showed me and the Acer monitors MLG is using in UGH and tournaments. I can try to find a link if I remember which one my friend showed me if your interested.
But seriously guys listen to Mr. P, don't buy monitors right now. A big reason why halo 3 used those viewsonics is because halo 3 was never HD. It was 640p and had scaling issues. Im pretty sure Reach is higher res with no scaling issues. Wait to hear what they are going to use for reach, then make your decisions. Better safe then sorry.

All these new monitors don't have anything on my 5 years old Samsung 206BW
2ms Response time, and nothing has gone wrong with it in 5 years... I will be sad to see it go eventually :(

Any new insight on what monitors were used for Reach in DC and if they plan to stick with those?
