I'm tired of seeing maps being submitted and are not fit to be in the pro circuit. I have seen almost all of them and 95% of the maps needs changes.
Here are the main things that you do or do not want in a map

-never make a map over $7000, it helps avoid screenlag
-do not use too much glass or lights
-make your map in blood gultch, it has great lighting
-try avoiding making a map near the waterfall, the waterfall produces screenlag
-try not to have too many objects overlapping, try to make your map and put the peices together like a jigsaw puzzle
-avoid z-fighting
-never have water in your map, messes up gameplay in many ways
-do not have a roof to your map, look at sanctuary, element, nexus, etc.
-always see if you have screenlag in splitscreen, it helps a lot
-do not have grass, sometimes there are exceptions
-simple maps are sometimes better and play great, depends on how you make them

I understand a lot of people do not like v5, but there is not many choices for Killa KC.
If everyone would do as I just listed, it would be easier for his job and better for MLG.

Why didn't post that here (http://thelannetwork.com/forum/showthread.php?4182-Maps-Submitted-for-v6) or in the MLG forums. Anything to do with forge is almost pointless in TLN ie. no support

Or just retitle the thread next time, kinda a outcry not an actual submission

I think the first step to good maps that make it into the pro circuit would be to replace Killa KC with somebody who knows what they are doing. Maybe it's just me idk

THIS!!!!.. How could they give us Warlock and then take it away..
I'm still baffled that Nexus and Element made it to the Circuit but that's just me

-avoid z-fighting

Yes, z-fighting will destroy your map. What with all the Kamehamehas n such.

That's what I was thinking as well

Easier said then done.... My maps are 100% lag free and 50% of them are Split screen friendly...
