Anyone see the new glitch for reach called the RRYB? My friend just showed me this and apparently it requires host but works a lot like BXR.
Wondering if anyone has found a good use for this glitch in matchmaking or customs yet to see if they think it will make an impact at all on game play.

Yea man I saw it on some forum. The video wasn't rendered though so I couldn't watch it.
Would love to see a video on youtube and for any player to be able to do it, not just host.

i just watched a video of someone doing it. it looks cool, but it's only on host so there's no point in trying to use it a lot.

You could do this in Halo: 3, but was incredibly hard to pull off. It is not worth your time

I'll probly try to pull it off a lot just cuz my connection gets host a lot....Tech school = beast connection.

Me and one of my friends are doing this glitch in a custom game as I'm teaching him. Me and him just pulled it off with out switching host so it is possible for all players to do it. I've discovered it is the coolest way to stop a double beat down.
Edit: Just finished running a custom game with me and a friend doing this and it definitely adds another element to game play.
Also I have a video in my fileshare of me doing this.

Agree with Piney, it doesn't seem to be worth the time to work on it.

Can anyone help with the timing? I've tried just doing as fast as I can, and I can get the second shot off while on the pistol, but no melee. I've also tried slowing it down in different combinations with no real luck. Is it like shoot, wait a bit, then shoot (and press Y) and melee real quick? Or is there a nice pacing to the button presses? So maybe bambambam or is it more bam...bambam? Any help would be appreciated, just trying to get it down for the novelty of it.

It only works with a DMR to my knowledge as it has the correct firing speed needed. You can have any secondary weapon. You fire once and then fire roughly a 1 sec - 1.5 sec after the first one and immediately switch weapons (your second shot should not actually fire) then right after you switch weapons immediately melee and it should melee and cause the 2nd shot you "fired" to come out at the same time. Easy way to remember it is as R(R+Y)B.

Ok gotcha, thanks. Quick question though would you say you press the second R and Y at the same time or one followed by the other quickly? I see the +, but maybe my issue is that I'm trying to do them at the same time when it should just be in quick succession.

It is in quick succession. The way I showed my friends is you know how you could lunge at someone with a sword but negate the lunge so you would fly at them but not hit them? It is like that in a sense.
