I just found teevox.com via the mlg forums. Such a better way to watch jtv streams than via justin.tv

I'll be set for the next two TLN lans and the scrims before the event.

It was formerly known as Warp Prism, The Starcraft community has been using it for about 6 months now.

Controversy has however followed its beginnings. JakeFrink on the Sc Reddit forums said that he has hand coded it over the course of 3 weeks so him and his friends could watch the streams easily. V1 was then released to the Sc community and it was welcomed with open arms. Version 2 is released and allows for Hotkey controls WASD and UDLR for everything. ANd picture in Picture viewing is released as well, THIS IS AWESOME!

Once again the Reddit community admired his programming prowess and his awesomeness for allowing us to use this bit of kit for free.

V3 rolls around with LoL and a few other game integrations, Sc community didn't have a reaction.

V4 rolls around, HTML5 Search and Etc. However after some Digging, JakeFrink was found out, his secret was out. It was being developed by a group of 3 guys for the purpose of them getting cash from it in the long run. OP_IS_MASTERS_FYI found out all this stuff about the program itself and the Starcraft community turned on JakeFrink.

You see, Warp Prism. Disables Adverts, good for viewers, bad for streamers. Where as other sites the adverts are hidden but the streamer sill gets the cash for it Warp Prism completely disables any revenue the streamer gets from the partner program.

So yes it is a neat bit of kit, but it hurts the people that stream(This is going from a Starcraft scene where people such as Destiny, Total Biscuit, Khaldor and others get their revenue from these types of stream)

Consider yourself HISTORIED!

Well... Starcraft Reddit is fickle and idiotic at the same time.

OP_IS_MASTERS_FYI is leading another campaign against someone in the community for dickish purposes. Granted the Streamers still don't get money for you watching it through Warp Prism. But it's no where near as insidious as it was made out to be in the first place.

Granted i still wont use it for anything that i am subscribed to, because i get 1080p via the Twitch.tv streams. But feel free to use it as you please.

Well, since all this stuff has come out on Reddit. JakeFrink has allowed Adverts on the stream. It is now pretty legit to use.

There is still a minor bug with the first add that pops up not being registered but that is being fixed.

I just downloaded a Google Chrome Extension called Better JTV and it's awesome. Large chat boxes, no ads, cleaner website.

You are aware you are hurting streamers by doing that? No adds means they don't get revenue FYI. If you want to support them all you need to do is watch a single 30 second advert every once in a while.

Y U SO IMPATIENT?
