So first off I want to say that I love the Halo franchise more than any other game. I think between it and the Call of Duty franchise its clear that Halo is more competitive, more skillful, and a better FPS. This is of course my own opinion and I'm not going to debate it because You can't honestly compare the two, they are of different styles.
Anyways, as much as I prefer Halo as a game, I have honestly more fun playing call of duty, especially if no one is online. I enjoy lanning Halo, but online I'd rather play Call of Duty. Anyways, I didn't get into the franchise until world at war, and have been very into playing a multitude of games, so I never put that much time into them. I have never 10th prestiged in any of the games, but I have played each of them. Recently I played Black Ops with some friends on gamebattles and found that I was clearly able to hold my own, something I definitely couldn't do on Halo. I've had relatively high ranked teams on Gamebattles tell me that I have legit potential, another thing that has never happened with Halo.
The combination of my apparently more gifted abilities for the CoD franchise, ( I'm not trying to sound like an ass, just my own opinion and observation ) and my preference of playing it online to halo has made me decide to go on a mission.
The mission is this. I've made progress on each of the four current CoD games ( 4, WaW, MW2, and B Ops ). I'm going to try to finish the final prestige max level on each game............before MW3 comes out. I know this sounds impossible, and maybe it is. But I am going for it. The reason I'm telling all of you this is I have noticed that the randoms I play with on Call of Duty 4 rarely try to win the game. I'm still winning well more often than not, but if I could find other gamers to play with who love winning regardless of the game, I would level up much much faster. I am also looking to expand my friends list with fans of MLG and the FPS genre.
