I never got into Potter, to me there are much better fantasy films/books out there. The best thing to come out of Harry Potter these last years however is Whats her face that plays Hermoinie, i forget her name.

Said the same thing about the Halo trilogy but it didn't just lay down and enjoy it's success.

I never got into HP, but like how the movies followed the book series. As someone else stated I too will die if there is another Transformers. How man times are these huge robots going to save us from other huge robots LOL.

For me the best HP is via the books. Specifically the audio books. Both the US and UK narrators are amazing and do great voices. The movies I can take or leave.

I have been a die-hard Harry Potter fan since day 1.
I've read all the books more than 5 times each, and I am also a very avid Harry Potter fanfiction reader.
I suppose the movies have just been a bit of a bonus, as much as my imagination may wander while reading the books, it's nice to legitimately see the books put into action on the big screen. I try to keep the movies and books separate though, because obviously the movies will skip out on a lot of stuff from the books.
I feel this will be a tear-filled goodbye between Harry Potter and I.
It's been a fun 10 years or so, goodbye Harry Potter! <3

ha ha ha morgan good luck with that still no word from fox if there continuing the series and shelly ya i am the same way i have read the book fan fiction everything there is and it helps my wife loves the series as well... the only thing i wish or would say is a issue with the whole movie end is that damn number 3 movie great book but alfonso should be shot for destroying the movie
I'm more of a movie guy than a book reader, but Harry Potter has been an Amazing, well-enjoyed 10 year ride.

I know what you guys mean, walking out of the theater after seeing it felt very weird to me, there have been many other series of books I've loved but harry potter was the only one where I grew up with the main characters, and people around me knew their stories too. Leaving the theater I felt older somehow haha, I guess because a huge part of my childhood is was harry potter and seeing it end made me feel like im leaving something behind.
