Playlist Update Tomorrow!

If i needed any more evidence that i shouldn't be playing reach untill MLG playlist is out its this gem here.

�Pro� options are being removed. Arena Zealot (details above), is being added.

So it looks like its going to be a lot of AR starts in the Arena! Ohh Joy...Anyway, team objective updates seem nice more powerhouse, that cant be a bad thing.

When i read this during the week I was surprised they were taking Pro out of arena. I mean if anything they should have made it only pro settings.

Agreed, would've preferred only pro settings.

they're discussing the potential of a radar-less pro gametype to be re added to arena though and that would be preferable to both

um.. do you even play arena? there is no AR option. it's slayer dmr, and slayer dmr pro

I have said this many places before. But i only played reach for the first 3 days... Then stopped because the playlists are terrible. I have only ever been inside Arena a few times, cant remember how it works.

I just play MLG Reach Customs. I'd rather do that than stick Halo 3 in my xbox. :3

The main thing to complain about here is the fact that they're adding swat, but it's not arena! at least i don't think it is. I'm a beast at swat and I know i'd get onyx top <20%.

also, later this month they're adding slayer pro without radar, and team snipers, which also had better be arena. I don't see an MLG playlist being established until after Dallas.

I personally wish they don't add SWAT to arena. I'd probably cry at how far Matchmaking has fallen. I think SWAT is one of those game types that just needs to be social. I'm really not looking forward to all these changes they are making.

They probably just realize when the MLG playlist comes out it would be redundant to have two somewhat similar playlists. In my eyes Team Slayer in Reach is social slayer Arena will be what Team Slayer was in h2/3 and MLG will be hardcore

You can't even vote for a map in Arena. I officially hate this and can't wait till they come out with a MLG playlist now.

Seems to me like bungie's trying to push the loadouts into competitive gaming, since the competitive gaming tends to be the standard and what truly drives Halo. They really want to push those loadouts as part of the game and into the sequels. Personally I think they have no place in competitive gaming and should not ever be an option, let alone mandatory, in the arena. If you want to fly around in an fps go play battlefield or cod.

I have no problem whatsoever with loadouts in social gaming, but they're stupid when they're forced upon you in the campaign, and they're even stupider in multiplayer.

It's like, go ahead and use your wii fit, but I better not see it as a mandatory piece of equipment to play smash bros.

I am truly disappointed with this update :( Arena was bad already with the radars but now... its horrendous. Whats funny now is the obj. IMO is the best playlist out there. lol at least you can play some fun 2 flag pro on asylum there :)

Agree'd Its the only playlist that i can see myself having fun on. I cant stand the whole - I'm pro because i'm camping with a shotgun and radar.

At least there is some radarless games in Obj.

Exactly I actually enjoy the Obj. playlist when the right games get picked. I sometimes don't even mind headhunter because its neat to play (as long as it's the pro version)

I did the exact same thing. I loved playing Reach for a few days, but it hasn't been in my xbox for a while now.

Update is such a joke.. I don't really understand how it chooses maps off your preferences? I mean if I prefer the cage and pinnacle I must be on crack.
