so i just got a new 22' widescreen 1080p visio, 1. is that a good gaming monitor? 2. how long does it take to adjust to these cuz man im having a hard time

First of it ViZio not Visio, and i need more info then that to tell you if its a good TV/Monitor. A model number helps.

like the main thing is everythings so fast, i usualy play on 2, went to 1 and 1 was like 6 i have no idea why it's doing this

Usually the transition from A Standard Tube TV is hard, due to the fact that you see more on a monitor. Its something your just going to have to get used too. And you can find the model number on the back usually, near the Serial Number.

i have a 22" vizio tv that i game on and i LOVE it. great response time and picture. the speakers kinda suck, but when i game i use my astros so it doesnt matter for that. i actually bought it off another TLN member :)

That makes no sense. When you go from a tube to wide screen and play on the same sensitivity you played on the tube, it feels slower because theres more on the side. Not faster. When i switched from a tube to an LCD i went from 4 to 6 sensitivity.

Eh... not for me. I need to slow down my sensitivity and I just got a new tv. I'm playing on 1 sens and that's what I play on at events. On a tube it is usually 2 or 3 sens for me.
