All the "Twitter wars" and MLG Pros fighting back n forth. To me it is very unprofessional. Some of them may be young, but they are the faces of this community. How are we all supposed to want MLG to grow when our own Pros act like children. I just couldn't believe what I read between Crimsix, APG, Lethul, Clutch and the other Pros involved tonight. It's sad that they act like that because it makes it okay for the fans and upcoming AM players to act like that too. Whether they like it or not they are role models for younger aspiring players. Them acting like angry children is holding back MLG from growing. If you were a big corporation and MLG came to you to partner would you say yes if you saw how their top pros act? I know I sure as hell wouldn't. Just me venting, but I think the Pros need to grow up and help MLG grow instead of taking it back a few steps.

Magik approves this message! It honestly is very immature maybe they should take it to the MLG Forums they would have a warm welcome ;) lol

when you have the biggest smack talker in the game today, and the biggest smack talker on the forums, then THATS a twitter war, all the other ones are lame. BUT, seeing Reliable w/ Clutch and Hysteria argue at the Coby LAN is just like watching a movie.

I was even surprised Enable threw his two cents, he is sponsored by a huge company and is letting others problems effect him.
I agree its very immature but with competition comes some heat and I think most companies understand that if you pay a bunch of kids to play professionally you may not get them to act professionally. I dont think its really holding MLG back because for the most part the players are respectful at events and thats where these companies are making their money. Plus if it were really effecting growth I would think Sundance would begin to step in. If more individual players get sponsored than you may see a crack down on twitter/facebook drama from the sponsoring companies. I find these spurts of drama rather amusing, kinda like MLG Jersey Shore.

I kinda like it. It is competitive talk like back in 2008.

I actually agree with Gazurk...i mean i do understand what your saying Winger, and most of the time i agree with u. but i actually really miss rivalries and bad blood between teams/players. sometimes i feel like MLG has forced teams to be too buddy buddy and not talk smack during events and things like that. so it's nice to see how players really feel about other players. I love playing halo and i respect all the pros but trust me...none of them are my role models.

Rival smack talk is one thing, everyone ganging up on one guy is called bullying LOL. I'm no Crimsix fan, but come on. Trash talk is one thing, a 5 on 1 is a bit ridiculous. Just a difference of opinions I guess.

unfortunately in the world we live in it is easy for these things to happen. I mean how many times do you see professional sports stars tweeting something that they have to apologize for later on? Too Many tbh

At least these guys all know each other. What I can't stand is people on XBox Live that insult your mother and talk constant $hit when they don't even know you, and wouldn't dare say anything like that if they did.
As long as it doesn't get too personal or ugly I don't have a problem with it. Makes the matchups more lively. I, for one, am sick of all these teams swapping out players like its a random LAN party. Some heated rivalry between teams would be welcome IMO. Shake hands in the end, thats all I ask.

I personally just find it entertaining. That and with halo pros they are mad at each other one day then the next they are teaming because they've teamed with everyone else already >_<

I just think if the top players, even AM players, all acted more professional and grown up while not actually playing it would help the reputation of MLG grow in a positive way. Again in the end it is a business. Who knows how it will go though. From what it seems it will always be an immature community lol

Come talk to me when the pros start punching each other like professional football, basketball and baseball players. Now those are some roll models. Shooting themselves in the foot, raping people, dog fighting, etc. I think if a little argument over twitter is the worst we've seen, we're doing pretty well.
