I Miss the TLN Community! [Archive] - The LAN Network Forum

Do you guys think we should try and keep this group of people together? I'm sure I am not the only one that would say I loved this community more than any other. I would much rather spend time on these forums than some others. This community seemed to be much more inviting and loving than the others. I don't want the site to go down without establishing a way for this forum community to stick together and talk elsewhere.

What do you guys think? Should we keep this community together?

It certainly wouldn't be an easy task. It would honestly come down to the community as a whole wanting it rather than one person.

Takes a lot for a community like this to keep going. Hope TLN is back for good but they need the support of everyone who likes it here.

Hey guys, I wanted to take this opportunity to tell you about a place a friend of mine started up about a month ago... its a gamebattles like site, so you can build a team and search free agents etc... it covers a lot more games and game modes... but the best part is... THERE'S A FORUM ... since the site is new, there's hardly any members right now and we could totally take it over if enough people join...

Plus if you're good you can win prizes in the tournaments :)

the community is back, have missed coming on this site to talk to people. I would personally like for this site to continue at least the forums. The mlg forums are rude and full of trolls, which most forums are but this one seems for kind-hearted and open to people's opinion.

Don't get me wrong, I would love TLN to stay... and I know you weren't coming at me with this post, but I was just providing an alternative... I think he has plans to start to embed live streams and hold some live LANs that he may stream as well ... it'll never replace TLN, nothing ever will, but its a damn nice site with some damn nice features, and if this community moves there then it will be full of damn nice people.

I think the easiest thing is to pick another halo related forum that is just starting out, like the one above, and just get everybody to join it. Instant community extension.

This place is amazing. Whenever I was doing my daily scroll on facebook, I saw TLN posted that it was back for the weekend :D I got realllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll lllllllllllllllllllllly happy :)

I am definitely on board with keeping the site alive/keeping the community together.

I have spent countless hours on this site. I love it.

Guys seriously this is a pretty legit site going on here. Im like 1 of the only 10 people on this site. And the competition is soo boring in the 1v1 department. Like its just another 15-0 after 15-0 for me. I just think that this site works way too well for people not to know about it! Come give it a look. If you dont like it then you can leave but i think theres no way you can turn this site down!

Hey guys, i'm totally down with keeping this site up, but it's really not up to us. I think we need a backup, i mean non of us wanted this site to go away the first time and guess what...it did. We need to have a backup plan so that if this site goes away for good we have a new place to go to. Small...i'm gonna dm and see what you have in mind. I am even down with fronting the money to make our own legit site. lets get something going ppl...i dont wanna have this place shut down on us and have no place to go.
