Options:
Normal Black MS controller: Fairly reliable and most "slow-turn" issues are not happening anymore, if they are the store will usually let you return it (in my experience) -
Onza - I've heard much more bad than good from this, don't suggest purchasing one.
MLG MadCatz - If you want to wait a few weeks (No ETA) this comes with a 2-yr warranty, is the most expensive of the choices, but is fairly customizable and supposedly MadCatz put a bunch of effort into this controller to make it durable and reliable. I was able to test the feel at MLG Raleigh and Providence and I'll most likely be getting one of these.
Custom controller: it's a crapshoot but I'd check out RushControllers if you want a simple one. EnvyControllers or ScufControllers for a most customized one

Any of the Power A controllers are really sick...Especially the Batarang and the Airflow controller

Also, all of them have LED lights, and are No-Slow

Personally I have an Onza, and I like it... I'll admit there are a few flaws that don't concern me, like the design of the controller makes it near impossible to claw, and the triggers feel a bit funny sometimes when playing shooters... but at the same time i'm not a hardcore player, I'm not a tryhard, I play other types of games rather than just shooters... The main reason i got it is that i LOVE the rubberized grippy coating on it... Some people complained of slow turn but I've never experienced it, so maybe I got lucky... I also didn't get it right when it came out, i got mine several months later so perhaps it's an updated revision to fix that, idk.

I wouldn't outright recommend it, but I wouldn't rule it out until you hold one in your own hands...

A4VControllers are better than both Envy and RushControllers. I'll be getting my no slow from them when their site is back up Dec 26th.
