Today a lot of people have been let go from MLG. Most of you know Mioff. Also Slasher is not continuing %$&# Slasher. And a tweet

Anyone have any idea of what is going on? I am not saying any of it is bad or for the wrong reason, i just wondered if anyone here had some knowledge of what is to come. We all know the 2012 is going to be HUGE for MLG next year, and just wondering if anyone has any inside scoops

StarCraft is being released from the 2012 circuit (pending announcement later this week). Internal conflicts and whatnot. Gonna be sad to see MLG's moneymaker go... :(

To be honest, Halo has work to do considering it's the down to the 5th highest rated FPS on the Xbox 360 (last I checked). Halo as a whole needs to grow to where it was, not just MLG.

There were multiple issues with getting a live stream license which is why they're focusing on more online for next year. It'll be tough to find such a big replacement. Maybe this will open up the door for a huge fighting game to be brought on. Here's to hoping Capcom will resolve their differences with MLG!

Err no. MLG would never give up 60-80% of their viewer base on the chance they might be able to reach those numbers with another game.
