Post a day thread

As quite a few of you have noticed the TLN community seems to have greatly reduced in size recently. I joined this community when it was vibrant and chock full of content and I want to see it stay that way. In hopes to keep alive the community and help it grow I want to start a thread where people can post ( even if it's once a day ) and give this site something to read. you can post whatever you want related to life or gaming or anything all camps welcomed DOTA, SC2, Reach, LOL, Battlefield, or whatever you want. Go ahead see if you post once a day that's it! Go!

I like this idea... I tend to get bored at work and dart back and forth between forums, usually only keeping an eye on a few select threads... TLN used to be a place with frequently updated threads and was always worth a good read, even if i didn't find it worthy or replying to...

I miss those days... TLN needs more people, or needs the people that are here to be more active... a call to arms, as it were

In the interest of this thread... here's a post for today that I read on another forum and for the sake of keeping this post short, I'm just gunna link it... feel free to discuss here or make an account on that site and discuss in there, idfc :)

Just read the aforementioned link great food for thought... at first I thought that it was just going to be another thread about how there are a bunch of kids on Xbox Live. But it really is true that you have to get accustomed to what I grimace to call "our culture." It's full of people who hide behind the veil of anonymity and feel like they can insult and degrade whoever whenever. Just remember to be a good sport and its just a game so have some fun.

That's pretty much it, in a nutshell... wasn't meant to be a rage thread... we all know there's enough of those to go around. I think Halo's community are some of the worst in relation to the topic of that post... other games/communities seem to be less affected or act more adult when it comes to the major offenders...

Halo seems to be the epicenter of the negative attitude.

the new owner of TLN didnt give us anything exciting to talk about :(
and if there is something to say here in TLN, it would be

There is nothing happening here right now to talk about. TLN hasn't released anything there is no update about Reach from MLG. Only thing going on at the moment is GSL. People moved on from TLN so basically its starting new. Hope it grows but not really holding my breath.

I agree that TLN may be on a somewhat downward spiral but I want to try and breathe some life into it even if it's just a little bit. I think that there is room for a community like this on the internet, Rick Barretto you need to pick it up! As for my post for today you need to all head over to google images and type in "pancaked unicorn" then observe House, Obama, Stalin and Unicorns!
