If halo wasn't on the circuit next year...

Easy thread, question is, what if Halo wasn't on the circuit next year? what would you do? Gamebattles? Switch over to GoW or COD or maybe Starcraft?

I think i would hop on Halo 3 and forget about reach for a while ^_^ I was never good at H3 lawls

Life would go on, new games would be played. I would love to see some 4v4 or 8v8 Battlefield on the cards for MLG. That would be marvellous!

Halo's given me many years and countless hours of fun both playing and watching. For me the fate of Halo rests on Halo 4, so until then, even if it is dropped from the circuit I will champion it and stick with it.

However if Halo 4 fails to impress it will sadly be the end of Halo for me...

People between the age of 13-22 would save a lot of money by no longer spending hundreds of dollars to go compete in a Halo tournament that they really don't have any hopes of ever making that money back. We would pull in bigger games with larger crowds in MLG.

Personally I'm not sure if they would just give more attention to CoD, add gears, or simple add a game that isn't an FPS.

My high hope is they drop it and add something like Battlefield or CS:GO. However I don't really see those appealing to the "MLG" crowd of eSports.

I'd go to NGL and help support them. I love Halo maybe not Reach as much as H2 and h1 but definitely an improvement over H3. Lets hope that MLG decides to put H4 on the circuit and keep reach this year as well :) I'm sure they will however.

Well i do love halo but would probally wait to see what happens with H4 but i have been following cos more so probally watch that for a year maybe.

I'm going to create my own console league if I can find people to create a site and people interested in console gaming too.

I'm not about to let what I love die. Even if I don't make it, at least I can say I tried to keep my love alive.

id wait till h4 and primarily focus on sc2, hard to be big supporters of both but i am :))))

I'd play whatever MLG picks up. I like the competitive scene and its the only reason i game so i'd focus on SC2 or maybe gears.

I agree with this. I throw my support 100% behind any legitmate league or grassroots events that support the growth of competitive game; in any title. I am currently running a grassroots league within the FGC but hope to expand into holding tournaments for other games. If you're interested we need to exchange information about how to grow the brand.
