So I am tired of seeing and hearing stuff about Starcraft. I am sorry I just can't watch it. I have tried too. I also cant stand all this talk about people going to Barcrafts... I want to do something like this for halo. Just go to a Bar or do it at my house. Get a Big tv watch Halo maybe play some halo on the side (and drink) I am going to do it with a few of my friends in NJ.. But I want to know if the community would be interested?

I hate to say it, but i think the average Halo fan is too young to get into a Bar.
But prove me wrong, get one going. It's always good for eSports.

I want to say your wrong about the average age of the Halo fan. You must remember Halo has been around for a decade. I was in 6th grade when I started playing... Also check out this post http://forums.majorleaguegaming.com/topic/264916-age-of-mlg-halo-fans/

Even if the average was over 21, I think a huge percentage,at least 45% Is under 21. I feel like an old man from the H2 days and I don't turn 21 for 3 more months. This would still be really fun for the people able to do it though.

I think it would be cool to have esports bars. Not just starcraft or halo but like an entire MLG event. Also i agree with everyone the average halo fan isnt 21.

its sad to say but most of the people that enjoy watching halo is not 21. I however am and I would love to go to a sports bar to watch the MLG events.

I absolutely love the idea, but unfortunately I don't turn 21 until April. Also, this is just a speculation, but I feel like Halo and drinking are more synonymous than starcraft and drinking... Drunk beat downs/sniping > Drunk micro/macro, just sayin.
p.s. indisputable proof! more or less... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zW_ovJpTSg

You would be better off gathering some reputable and accurate info from MLG, and presenting it to a bar as a whole. Then maybe show different games on different TVs. Most likely, you would have to give first bill to SC2 to draw in the required numbers. It would be a good way to get a Halo group started though.

I haven't seen any studies to indicate the average age of a Halo player/fan.
If you think it's an good idea crack on with it. You'll never know until you try there's no reason to speculate and wonder about it, because you'll be left thinking of the what ifs.
I don't know about the bar state in America, but we have places like Wetherspoons in the UK where you don't need to be 18/21 to get in, so they can't drink they can still have a good time.

I think that this is a great idea... but unfortunately I fall into the under 21 category. Most bars are willing to stamp an individual if they're under 21 and a good time can be had by all.You would just need to have people willing to come to a local bar or coffee shop. Gonna have to try this out in my town
