Best event we had in a while?

I think this MLG weekend has by far been one of the best events we had in a while. The energy of the crowd is great, and we are louder than the SC2 mainstage, pretty exciting! all i can say is, Classic vs Instinct put up one of the greatest showings ever.

With Walshy and Bravo added to the commentator mix it actually adds interest for the crowd watching. Still several things to work out in the Halo community but at least it's getting on track.

Yeah its definitely on the right track and this isnt the last halo, its not dead. And yes the instinct v Classic match up i was jumping around my house it was so crazy!! :)

I was rather disappointed in the Sc2 event this time. Nothing really mental happened on stream. The best matches were played off stream(Which is a joke seeing as there is 4 Sc2 Streams to work with) For EG HuK vs Naniwa was not on the main stage and that ended up being 1 zealot and 1 probe vs 1 stalker and 1 probe for about 10 minutes.

And this is the first time in a long while that Sundance has allowed finals games to be played off the main stage. Thus we get into the situation where the Sc2 folks just left the venue at around 8pm last night. Nearly 90 minutes before the Halo games were over.

I think every series except 1 or maybe 2 did not end up being a 5 game series on the main stage! I was so excited and nervous and just overall gitty about everything. I remember hysteria out DMRing formal while 1 shot for a double kill on main ramp of countdown and I was so shocked that I screamed and was like that was amazing! That kind of stuff happened throughout the entire event!

was saw one of the suddoths tbag hysteria and died right after? i think that was kinda dumb, his team was i think down, and they were losing the series, RC almost got top 16, they ended up getting top 17

For Halo it was super intense! I haven't heard a crowd like that since nationals '10 when Final Boss came back against SQ to pull it out. I just wish Instinct could have pulled off the W!

i really didnt know who to pull for :( i wanted sQ to win, but at the same time, i had lunch with Instinct at Anaheim 11' haha, so i was pulling for instinct, i also had to change my gamerpic in the middle of the series to instinct :) im happy the competition got a lot more competitive, instead of Instinct winning a lot of tournaments

Hopefully there will be Halo for Anaheim! In the mean time... who predicts any type of team change? Im not gonna name the players, but im gonna name the teams that will probably break up, BtH, Agency, (maybe) Str8 Rippin, and i wanna see some insane trades, but i see a lot of teams sticking together as well

I was at that tournament! I was pulling for SQ though. They have been my favorite team for some time now.

It's a sick squad no doubt, and I believe they can definitely pull off a tournament without dropping a game. Also glad Ghost decided to let them use the name, and coach them. Very mature, and exciting :D.

Classic vs Instinct was the most INTENSE series by far. If classic could have got that last kill..
