I know this is way off topic of gaming and stuff but i thought this may be a good idea.

I myself suffer from depression.. Finally going to the doctors today actually... i should have went a long time ago, but i am just making this tread so that if anyone else has this issue and needs/wants someone to talk to then feel free to message me! i am a great listener and i am willing to help anyone i can, plus who knows maybe we will end up both helping each other!

Update: Well doctor is sending me to the hospital/emergency room... he wanted us to go last night but i was way to tired to sit around for another few hours and that's IF they would have even let me out cause of the suicidal thoughts... i go tomorrow and i do want the counciling and stuff i just really hope they don't keep me there for a couple days under suicide watch.. rather not be trapped in a hospital for days-.- lol. but thought i would update everyone! if anyone wants to talk still just send me a pm!

Update 2 for anyone who is still checking in: was at the hospital for like 6-7 hours wed night, was not sure if they were gonna keep me over night or not but they let me out. they put me on a urgent counciling list and said it would probably be like 2-3 weeks well they called yesterday and said they want me in now haha.. probably not a good thing but good in a way that i'm getting my help that i need.

Sully, I think a lot of people are afraid to admit it. I know I have had times I think I may suffer from it, but I always tell myself no it cant be that. Not even telling my parents. Sometimes it helps talking to close friends, but sometimes it helps more talking to a complete stranger who has experience in the subject.

Well... Knowing is half the battle...

But seriously... it's not a good place to be. It can be a bit of a downward spiral and the thought of seeking help makes it seem as though you're admitting there's something wrong with you. It's a big step, but one that should be taken for sure.

Random thought, you mentioned that you were a great listener and for other people to come talk to you and such, but sometimes (at least for me) having to play therapist for everyone else's trivial problems usually made me feel worse about the larger problems I was dealing with. Maybe it's time to just focus on Sully for a while?

I have anxiety issues at times, and was prescribed medication. I thought I could go without and it wasn't a good idea. But I'm back on it along with working out, gaming, and speaking it helps out man. Add me and we can have depression and anxiety FFA's :D.

i use to be insanely depressed my like 8th grade year, then i just started a consistent workout routine and honestly worked like a charm. I mean everyone has their own escape, mine is hitting weights for 2 hours. But best of luck man, some people really don't understand
