The game is called Werewolf. There are several positions you can fill in the game.
Villager Normal player, no special tasks
Werewolves depending on how many players total, there will be a select amount of werewolves.
Angel One angel per game. The angel can protect one person per night.
Seer One seer per game. The seer can ask about one person per night.
Hunter One hunter per game. The hunter chooses one person to kill per night.
There is a day and night cycle. One night plus one day equals one round. The game starts with the Overlord (me) giving a story for background. Then, I will send out PMs letting you know what your position is. If you do not receive a PM, then you are a villager.
Night phase:
The Overlord calls the day to an end, and puts everyone to sleep. At this time, no one is to post in the thread because you are asleep. The werewolves will discuss through PM who they wish to kill. Then, the head werewolf (will be designated) will PM the decision to the overlord. The Angel will PM the overlord who they wish to save; the hunter, who they wish to kill; and the seer, who they wish to know about. The overlord then replies to the seer with the role of that player.
Day Phase:
The overlord will announce the next day phase, and explain who died or who was saved the night before. Afterward, everyone in the game will get to discuss who they want to lynch on the first day. The werewolves will try to convince everyone to lynch a villager, and the villagers will try to get a werewolf. It is up to the individual whether or not you reveal your own role, but you can also lie as you want. By the end of the day phase, each player will have cast a vote. You can vote at any time during the day phase, and your vote must be in bold or it will not count. You only get one vote. If you edit your post, or vote twice, your vote will not count for that day. At the end of the day phase, the overlord tallies the votes and annonces who was lynched, and what role they were. Then the night begins and everyone is back to sleep.
These phases repeat until there are no more werewolves, or there are as many or more werewolves than villagers.
