The end of Str8 Rippin...

It saddens me to know that Str8 Rippin have not qualified for the National Championships in Dallas. This means that we may never see T2 light it up on the main stage again :(. Correct me if im wrong but I dont think Str8 is going on to Reach so this is the end of one of the best teams to play in MLG.

The rosters are locked but if someone on one of the teams is unable to attend then maybe he'll be able to but thats highly unlikely.

If defy quits, then t2 definitely needs to get legit back. he is beast at reach.

Str8 had a really unlucky bracket, it was possibly the toughest of any team. first they had to play FB in winners round 3 and then SQ in freaking losers round 6. that's not really fair. if sq had just played normal and won their placement round, str8 i think would have placed much higher.

Well, Teams come and go. But just think, Fb were so beastly in Halo 2. Then after a few problematic placments in H3 they are back on form. So if FB are anything to go by Str8 will be back on form in a little under 2 years.

Also, now they get to practice HR as a team. So they are going to have at least 3 weeks more practice as a team than any other team. 3 weeks could be the difference between placing outside top 8 and actually getting prize money

T2 will not quit, and he will continue the Str8 Rippin name. No doubt. If anyone shouldn't have made Nationals, it should have been Carbon. Honestly, they're horrible. That is not a good team at all. They're the worst in the top 13. I kept saying it pre-event too.

Yea, i just went through all of the points and carbon beat str8 by like 70 points or something, i'm not sure exactly what place they got, but it is kind of ridiculous. they should just count it as a tie and have a 9 team championship. i still blame sq tho, str8 would have placed higher if sq didn't suck on saturday.

Str8 seemed to be playing so well when I was watching part of it earlier. I left and came back to see they lost and i was utterly blown away. I will give props to T2 though because in between matches I could hear him not getting angry with his teammates but simply saying positive things to encourage.

Thats just awful that we won't be able to see that Str8 line-up one more time for Halo 3. They really had a good shot at Top 3 or even first the way they were playing. And I think everyone was blown away when they realized Carbon was gonna go to Nationals...really Carbon is going?

Elamite's with Instinct. Snipedown's with BtH. Legit 'retired', so he purposely left. T2 is the only '08 champ who will be nowhere to be found.

Carbon did not deserve that spot. I would have been bummed out if Walshy didn't make it, too, but seriously they're horrible.

Str8 was raping in the 6 Team LAN and was only a victim of the bracket system after losing to Final Boss and Status Quo.

What did Carbon do? They didn't even lose to Top 8 teams. They lost to Heaven and Earth and Warriors. Wowww how sad... /sarcasm

Carbon had the points. You guys need to remember that Carbon placed 6th in Columbus and out-placed Str8 in Raleigh which was the reason why Str8 didn't make it. Str8 didn't even crack the Top 7. But in terms of skill, Str8 is lightyears better than Carbon and Str8 could have easily placed Top 4 or 5 had it not been for the unexpected upsets and the unlucky brackets that occurred in this tournament.

Well as I do believe that Carbon doesnt deserve the stop. I can say that it's kind of a taste of their own medicine to Str8 when they acquired they got 3/4th of classic along with their seed and points. So when they let go half of str8/classic with chig and soldier going to Carbon they in turn got the points which helped them in turn be fortunate enough to get to the Nationals. I strongly believe that Carbon will do good with what they got, because I don't think that Cpt. Clutch would like to end his H3 career at an 8th spot.

However, you have to remember that the Suddoths and T2 have been playing Halo 3 for the past weeks. They're behind. BUT, this isn't an official team. They've just been running games together.

T2 doesn't have much time to find a team though. He has... 8 days.
