Urgent Questions About Monitor

So I get paid today and I'm looking to buy a monitor, I've heard good things about Acer's so I picked one out. The only thing I'd like to make sure is that if I just get the monitor will I be able to hook my xbox and Turtle Beaches up to it right away or do I have to buy serperate chords to be able to hook it up?

In order to used this monitor you need VGA or HDMI so make sure you have either cable. In order to use your Turtle Beaches you will need the Xbox 360 VGA cables and use the audio splitters that came with your headset.

Okay, in not technical speak, the only thing I have that came with my headset, are are red and white connector for the plug ins in the front of the tv. A Green and Pink plug in chord, the part that plugs into the xbox and that's it. And if I got the Xbox VGA cables would that cover the cables needed for the monitor?

The only cable you will need to buy is the Xbox 360 VGA cables. I recommend the official Microsoft ones, they are $30 on newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16874103025&cm_re=xbox_vga-_-74-103-025-_-Product) a bit cheaper than anywhere else. You take the red and white splitters (the ones that came with your headset) and connect it to the red and white on the VGA cables and thats it. :c)

I'm not ordering online, I'm just going into Wal-Mart and getting the monitor, so hopefully, the VGA's arnt to much more, lol

Yep Vontoxics got it right. I have astro's but my buddy has turtle beaches and i'm pretty sure they come with red/white audio splitters. Beautiful artwork my man! :)

SEe I don't get how to hook it up tho...like where do I plug in stuff? I have like 6 sets of wires and no idea wtf to do.

Thats probably because you are confusing the component cables that came with your xbox with VGA cables that are optional and have to buy.

I'm also on Astros now but I used to play on TB x1s which are no different from the x11s, which I'm sure are the ones coreyisdaffy has. I don't see how the setup is any difficult but I'll help him t'll he gets it.

Once you get all your parts it will be very clear on where to connect everything. Trust me i went through the same thing. Its actually a very simple process once you get it

Same here. Now I don't even think about it when I'm hooking everything up.
