This was an awesome read and really shows the side of the pros not many see or try to see in the MLG community.

That's awesome man, I live in Orlando now and I wish I could go hang with T2 and the boys that'd be pretty sweet. That was a great read.

Kwame, I am good friends with everybody mentioned in the article, you are right on they are all some of the nicest most genuine people I have ever met! I just wanted to mention that I remember getting into Anaheim and Kyle calling me telling me they were out for sushi at one of the best places in the US. He mentioned that he met you at the Str8 Camp and told me what a cool guy you were! I am sorry to hear about the passing of your father as well. Congratulations on becoming a father, you have a beautiful baby girl! Hopefully we will see some more articles on TLN from you in the future!

Amazing read. Good luck with the family! Hope to see you out at an event or the new gaming mansion soon! Also, I will agree that Aaron eats sushi like its breathing air.

epic blog

love the kwame reference, he was god awful, i can relate to you as far as having a competitive drive that comes from a love of sports and that translating into a drive to be good at halo

I talked to Elamite at the Denver combine a few times and he seemed like a really cool laid back guy. I will always root for him. Roy also seems like the perfect representation of what an MLG pro should be. Works really hard but is really humble and seems like a good person who is making the most of his opportunities.

I really enjoyed your blog. I dont even know you but I wish you and your family the best.

and good luck in reach

I thought this article was great and nicely written. The way he described his journey into competitive gaming was spectacular. I was also touched my the part where Ace & Elamite went to his father's funeral service and how they approached him during Columbus to say sorry about his loss.

the grammar was atrocious.

TLN should really proof-read articles before posting, because the great content is damaged by the errors.

Sorry, it's my fault. I wrote that late one night on a plane and didn't do a very good job of proof reading it. Peridious shouldn't have to double check my work, but that aside, I hope you guys enjoyed the blog!

That was an amazing read.

I am really sorry about your father. You sound like an amazing person with an amazing family. And to hear things like what you said about Elamite, JRab, Roy, and Ace is great. Makes me even more proud to be a fan of Instinct (even though Ace isn't on Instinct), a team full of such awesome people. ^^

Btw, haters gonna hate. They may think it is 'pathetic' to pay to go to the Str8 house, but look what it has brought you. An awesome family outside of your blood-family, which is the MLG community. I always think of what it would be like to be a part of something so epic, and you're living it. :)

Mr.P that was very well written (I wanted to say spoken lol)
I believe people should take a philosophy like that to heart.

And on topic kwame this blog was AMAZING!!!! By far the best blog i've read (not saying i've read a ton but a few )
I enjoyed all of it and there is no shame in getting better by paying for lessons. I envy you for getting to go to the str8 house ;) but yeah thanks for this read.

What a great read Jason. Its been a long time since Str8 Camp back in the day but the times are still fun. I am forever grateful for you taking all of us to Bluefin. That is still to this day probably the best food I have ever had in my life and don't leave out the fact that you picked up the bill! We all are(especially Ace) extremely grateful for that haha. It is always great seeing you at events and know that everything we do is out of respect for how great of a person you are and such a good friend. Anyways, don't be a stranger. I have a spot saved for you at Reach Camp which should be happening soon. You are always more than welcome to come to my house and make sure you hit me up again when you are in Denver. I owe you one for not making it out that night. Until then, ill see you online!

Kwame!!! I will never forget when we met, I ATE THE BEST FOOD OF MY LIFE, and continue to try to find food to satisfy my BlueFin craving... and do nothing but fail. Hopefully, me and kyle can make another trip out there soon since the season is almost over and I can satisfy my taste buds and hang out!! Maybe meet your family!!!
This was an awesome read. I was smiling the whole time. I have said it once before and I will say it again. We are all blessed to have met you and have you in our lives. You have made such a wonderful impact.
Sorry about the loss of your father, but I am so glad we got to be there for you. YOU DO MAKE HIM PROUD :)

Thank you for being YOU!!! Successful man, father, husband, son and friend!!!
WE ALL LOVE YOU JASON!!!

This was easily the most inspiring gaming blogs that I have ever read, and I would like to throw out a very generous 'good luck' to you and where your life takes you. You seem like such a strong genuine person and I'm glad you've been successful in your goals.

Check out EnvyControllers.com they just changed from CreateAController but it's still the same dudes. Last I heard they were pretty backed up so it would take awhile to get it but their quality is great! My midnight controller lasted about 3,000 games before I started having problems with it. Oh and if you play a ton (like me) I suggest only using it every once and a while so that it lasts you. :)
