I think I just fell in love...

I just got my ASTRO A40 MLG Edition headset... and immediately... i fell in love with em lol.

First thing I did after unboxing it all was put the headset on... and thought... "OMG IT'S SO COMFY!! I'M GONNA DIE!!!" (no... I never saw Despicable Me... tho I want to). This is the most comfortable headset I have ever tried. No more days of sore ears after a day of gaming with Turtle Beach X3s anymore. Hello awesomeness!

After getting everything connected (yes I got the TOSlink cable for better performance), I started up Reach, did a test voice message (yes... you should be able to hear me nicely now... no more "Is minor talking?" *cough*rashha*cough*), and played a match of Reach. And just wow... the audio is so much better.

Yea.. I'm gonna enjoy these very...very much...

The customer support is great. I have had mine fully repaired once.

Right now, my Mic for the headset messed up. They should be sending it today but until then, I will keep wearing a normal 360 headset under the a40's.

we the people of the lan network (woah.... weirdly sounded close to the declaration of independence...) run customs just about every night. I'll shoot you an invite when we do these. There, you'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll help BtR improve, and you'll just overall have a blast. Mabye you'll even catch a karaoke night... lol. You'll make tons of TLN friends there... thats how I get people on my list.

Also be sure to add "TLN Customs" on Live. You'll get invs to TLN customs games as people start em up and need people. That's another great way to meet TLN folks on Live.

I had the TB X3s... The static was a little annoying... but my main complaint on them were the comfort... after about an hour or 2 of gaming, my ears would get sore.

When I got the astors tho... not only does it feel like i have small pillows on my ears... the static went away, and I can now hear things that i didnt with TB... like the heart beat from the spartan whenever your health is low and I can distinguish footstep angles much better. Gah i love these things
