Thinking About Buying Trittons

Sadly guys my bank blocks California for any transactions with a Credit Card/Money Order, quite said right? I do have the option of getting Trittons at my local Best Buy, now for those who know, are Trittons better then the TB X11s? Or is it a waste of money to upgrade to them?

I plan on getting Astro's eventually, but it'll have to be at an event, and that won't be till 2011, so is it worth upgrading to Trittons?

Alright I currently have Turtle Beach's but I was told if I want to get serious I should invest in some A40's, since they have the BXR edition up on the site I figured I'd go with those, but here's my question.

1. If I order the A40 System which has the HeadSet and MixAmp does that also come with all the wires/chords required to hook it up to my monitor and whatnot? I only ask because I don't want to invest a ton of money into something I can't use/don't have the right setup for.

2. Are A40's really worth upgrading from TB X11's? My friends say if you have the cash you definitly should but I'd like the forums opinion. I'm mainly a COD player since Reach came out since I'm waiting for things to work out with the DMR and gametypes.

Advice ASAP would be mucho helpful since if I order them it will be today tomorrow.

yes they do come with all the cables you'll need to hook up and be on ur way with, I would suggest (with an Xbox 360 hookup) get a TOSlink cable as well. It will increase the audio performance as it'll will have the audio comming straight from the xbox, rather than from the xbox, through its cables, through any home entertainment system you have, then into mixamp cables.

I upgraded from the TB x3s and I'm so glad I did

The mix amp runs on 3 double A batteries. I got the rechargeable battery pack just cause lol. If im not mistaken, you can just use the included USB cable to connect it to your xbox to run power that way, however, if your running short on USB ports on the 360, you'll want the rechargeable battery pack so ur not dropping $5 every week (depending on how much you play) on batteries.

How many USB Ports are on the 360? lol, I never looked? I'm assuming 2, if that's the case it'd be 1 for the headset and 1 for mixamp correct?

The original 360's have 3. 1 in the back for the old Network Adapter. Im pretty sure the slim model only has 2. But the headset its self only plugs to the Mixamp. So you only need one USB port :)

lovin them so far , very comfortable and excellent sound with the optical cable

Basically my Purchase is all depending on my check, if it's a nice check which is should be I'm going to order them tonight and hopefully get them Monday morning, which is great because Monday starts a two day off for me so I'll have PLENTY of time to use them, but its hard to decide which pair, I'm leaning towards the Red BXR's, opinions? lol

I love the way the Red BXR's look. I would definitely go with them. The only other color I would consider is Blue, or if they made a yellow pair.

Sadly they don't make Yellow or Id' get them, but yeah it looks like if it's going to happen, it'll be the red pair, I'll post later tonight after work to tell you guys if the purchase is definitly going to happen, thanks for all the input and questions answered :D

Have you tried buying Astros from amazon? They will end up costing more though, I think. A while ago I asked astro gaming on twitter if the Astro Gaming amazon seller was official and they said yes.

Yeah I can't pay more then what the site offers right now, Amazon is definitly a nice choice though, more then likely I'll go to an event in 2011 and just buy them there, but for now I have Trittons, and they are actually really nice
