If the higher ups at TLN dont like the idea I will lock the IRC and let it die.
-Come join The LAN Network IRC/chatroom and talk with the TLN regulars as well as new members.
-Join On Thursday nights to watch and chat about the latest episode of The OldSpice Report LIVE!
-Looking for a scrim? See who is online and set one up faster than ever. Then take it to the forums to discuss scores and results.
-Chat with the TLN community members during MLG tournament weekend broadcasts.
The LAN Network IRC (http://wbe01.mibbit.com/?settings=d4a2e2317b84e8897df0b736464a8ee4&server=mibbit.darkmyst.org&channel=%23theLANnetwork)
TLN Forum mods, you guys have seriously proven yourselves on here and if you wish to become an IRC op let me know. I will also be offering IRC ops to outstanding chatters later on. That is if they wish to become ops.
When you log into chat, you should use your TLN forum name to avoid confusions. DO NOT IMPERSONATE ANYONE. Like in real IRCs, people shouldn't have to worry about registering chat names in an honest community.
Be safe chatters and do not share personal information. If you do have to share personal info, make sure it is someone you trust and do it with PMs.
I hope this IRC doesn't impact regular forum conversation but I hope it brings in less useless forum threads.
