So Frustrating!

Okay, so, like, does anyone else happen to find armour lock insanely frustrating! I was playing a team dubs match with my friend Nicole, and both of the guys on the other team had it, and everytime me, or her were so close to getting a double kill, or even A kill on them, they'd activate the stupid armour lock, I'd always yell "You badkids, scared to die, face me like a man!!" and Nicole would always just be laughing her head off, but yeah, do you guys find it very annoying? All I use is sprint. Why can't everyone else be like that? Lolol.
(I know that in Slayer Pro you can't use armour lock) <--well in most cases.
I just prefer Arena Doubles, or Arena 4v4. (:

Has it been taken out? Because a couple of days ago Me, Canadian and 2 other people were running Arena pretty good team we were and I swear we had the option of selecting "Armour Lock" I just can't remember we just used sprint legitimately haha.

But yeah I know where your coming from KLUHTZY it is that thing which annoys you the most tbh people just can't be legit and choose Sprint rather than "Armour Lock, Armour Lock, Armour Lock, Armour Lock" but still people think they are the best when they choose that option when we all know they are bad so let them get on with being bad haha ...

Armour lock is one of them things that i really hate about Reach, along with Camo as well. I don't understand the reasoning behind allowing you to be invincible for 4 seconds while your team mates kill your enemy(If your playing with vaguely competent people)

While playing Elite slayer on Swordbase, i genuinely saw 2 people tag team armour locking people at top gold with Sword + Needler

I will be happy with MLG playlist comes out and its a Pickup that requires a decent set up to get it without being dominated cross map

beating down someone who has just come out of armor lock is extremely pleasing however. it is frustrating but will only save you so long.

Bungie is realizing how retarded armor lock is...that's why they're taking it out. MLG is smart, only sprint and evade. I can't wait for mid december. hopefully MLG v2 will be more fun than crappy arena.

Oh, in my book, anyone who uses armour lock, just sucks with a DMR, or any weapon in that case. And just go around nading you, and tryinng to beat you down, but once you have them weak, BAM~!

Fighting fire with fire just causes more fire, thus everyone is on fire (using armor lock). :P

Armor lock is being taken out next arena season but they are adding a jetpack in doubles I believe. Armor lock and jetpack are the most annoying loadouts ever.

we'll... as the old phrase goes... fight fire with fire... using an armor lock also can devastate them. Just simply armor lock beside them after they go into it, wait for them to pop out... then you pop out, re bursting their shield and leaving them one shot. just make sure you armor lock close enough to them.

or you can just get evade or sprint to just run away and leave em... but that kinda defeats the purpose doesn't it =p

just thought of something else though... camo could kinda be its water... just disappear and then get a jump on him when he pops out of armor lock (or she)

@Minor: to an extent, but for the most part people only go into AL after an engagement, in which a smart player would know where the camo guy is and what he is doing. There is no Armor Ability that straight up beats Armor Lock, the best counter to AL is to have AL yourself, which is the problem. Also hate to say it, but that's bad balancing for you. I'd almost say Jetpack or evade is your best counter, but AL would be your best bet, you just have to out play them.
