Hey guys I'm starting a new series called the Lucky luke report. This is going to be me interviewing a different member from tln once a week for 8 weeks over xbl and then posting the interview here. If this goes well i will continue the series and add another season. I will be choosing a good majority of my guests but i will also have a one or two random draws to see who will be interviewed next. Now I'm new to interviews, but i hope to gain a new experience from this and to also bring us closer as a community. So here goes the first interview:
luke: Hey so i'm here today with the first ever guest itwuzmagik. How does it feel to be the first person on The Lucky luke report?
Magik: It feels fricken' amazing. Im very happy i was the first pick.
Luke: Haha good, So I hear you're going to be going to NGL cincinatti with your team Bring the Rain. How have you prepared and is their anything you wish you could have improved on?
Magik: Well basically we've just been playing alot! We've recently been scrimming some very good teams and we were definetly able to compete. I just wish we had been a little more prepared these last couple of weeks.
Luke: So who is on Bring the Rain?
Magik: Havk1nKn1ght, Minor pain, Rasha fasha, and myself.
Luke: All great guys , So how did you come across these players?
Magik: Well i met Minor Pain when i used to work with him a long time ago, i met Rasha through the tln livestream chat, and Havkin through the forums.
Luke: So how much dedication, and teamwork is put into starting a team?
Magik: It comes down to everyone putting in the hours, never giving up, and staying positive.
Luke: I can see how this could be hard for alot of people. So how did you begin playing Halo?
Magik: I started in 2002, one day my friend from school invited me over to play Halo ce, and we played campaign and i immediately fell in love with it.
Luke: How did you find out about MLG?
Magik: I was playing Halo 2 in matchmaking and this guy Blazeonsniper told me I had some talent and so he invited me to play with him and he showed me many cool jumps, glitches, and button glitches. He had told me he followed MLG and that i should check it out so i did.
Luke: When did you believe you were good enough to compete in Halo?
Magik: Near the end of Halo 2 my individual skill was increasing and i had joined a team which played hardcore and we eventually went on to win 102 straight games.
Luke: Were their any bumps in the road or hardships you faced?
Magik: Well, late in Halo 2 my grades started to slip becuase of how much i was playing, but the absolute worst was during the start of Halo 2 when my grandmother had passed away. It was very hard for me to cope with this because she was like a mother to me.
Luke: Wow that's hard to hear.
Magik: Yea, it was a great struggle in my life.
Luke: Lets get back to some positive points in your life. What was your favourite moment or moments of your halo experience?
Magik: In halo ce it had to be playing campaign with my friend and I can remember us betraying eachother for hours haha, In halo 2 it had to be when i played Str8 rippin in the first MLG online tournament, we lost but it was still alot of fun, And in Halo 3 I couldn't decide between the whole experience of going to the tournament in Pennsylvania with Minor pain, or playing customs with FlamesworD.
Luke: What do you think is your biggest asset as a player to your team?
Magik: I'm a really smart player, I always feel that if you can outsmart the other team you will win the match.
Luke: So what are some of your future goals after halo, and what are you currently doing outside of halo?
Magik: Outside of Halo I'm an ammunition specialist in the army, and I'm studying crimial justice at the midlands technical college in South Carolina. In the future I plan on becoming a police officer.
