View Full Version : Mr P's Statement to the TLN Customers
We here at TheLanNetwork want to say that we're very sorry for the issues that occurred last night. We just recently launched our new site before the 6 team Lan started and hoped that it would be problem free, with that being said we had some issues with the database and passwords transferring over. I know all of you are upset, and rightfully so, but I can tell you that we are all committed to bringing you the best product available. Again, we hope that your experience will be a good one in the end and hope that we have your continued support, I have made many friends in this community and I love to bring all of you the behind the scenes look at what we see on a daily basis.
Thank you again,
Mr P :)

We would all like everything to work perfectly right out of the box, but that's just not how it goes. Thanks for the post Mr. P, cant wait to see the rest of the lan and how this community will grow as time goes on.

Everyone needs to understand that with any new website there will be glitches, bugs, errors. I've not had much problems with TLN so far but I know some people have, just be patient and im sure they will fix the problems.
Anyway Great job Mr.P !

Does this mean free stream? Just kidding. And yeah, this is the Internet, people get impatient and want everything instantly. TLN pulls through though.

I am aware migrating websites is hard and frustrating - I would have liked it to happen sometime Before/After the streams were going on but time isnt always on your side

My account password still will not reset. Username is slyfish and pm me for my e-mail so I don't get a bunch of people using my e-mail to register for obscene things.
Thank you.

Seriously it's not a big deal. It's good to see you making a statement and apology though. However, people missed 4 games (at most) from a FOUR DAY LAN. They will live.
Thanks for everything, TLN.

Speak for yourself. I contacted my e-mail provider and they confirmed nothing is wrong on their end. Apparently TLN uses a browser-based e-mail service through google and thinks that I am a spammer.

And that's why other people have checked their spam-box and found the emails and now are watching the stream. So, if you're email doesn't have a 'spam folder', then idk what to tell you.

Mr. P, you're the man. Even having something like this available is awesome. It's understandable that a new site will have some issues and I can't wait until it is 100% up. Fantastic job the team is doing.

Setbacks are frustrating on both ends. TLN is beyond amazing when everything is running smooth though, so complaining about a short hiccup on the first night of the LAN is pointless.

I watched maybe between 10-12 hrs during this lan, probably more. To get that much entertainment for only $6 is a great value. That doesn't even include the stream being on almost everday and the other lans. After that first day, it was a great success.
P.S. Next time lets get that OG2 chat.;)
