So this thread is for anyone to post a review about MLG related topics. These can range from products you've purchased, to pro services like F/L spots or lessons, to trips you've taken to events, to people you've met.

Please follow all forum rules, and do not use this thread to slander products that don't deserve it, or any person. I am not afraid of the 'banhammer'.

I purchased the MLG edition Astro A30's. This headset in my opinion is the greatest investment for any hardcore gamer who isnt willing to pay the big bucks (A40's as an example) but still gets amazing sound quality comparible with most of the other high end headsets. What makes this product great is that you can use it on the move e.g. MP3, Cell Phone, Ipod, Iphone etc. The quality of the headset is very high, extremely durable build, soft as silk padding for your ears (On-ear design btw) and very light so you can wear them for extented sessions. Ive read other reviews saying the boom mic that comes with it is of a higher quality than the A40 version so this is another great point about the A30's. Ofcourse to use the headset for gaming you need to purchase the mixamp, but goes for the A40's aswell so it really makes no difference.
To sum up the Astro A30 headset is the best option for the hardcore gamer that also to be on the go. 9/10

I hoped this helped anyone that is interested in buying this product :)

I went to MLG Dallas with one of my good friends in Arkansas and we had the best time ever! I was super excited about this event since it was the 1st one I ever went to. Right before I went to Dallas I joined this website just thinking that I could keep up with what was going on in the MLG community more and I was interested in this website as well because I heard about it on the mlgpro site. I was not expecting to be welcomed immediately but I was completely wrong. I posted on the forums a little and then found an amazing group of people that were going to be there as well. I got to meet some of them at the event such as Taco, Mongrel, Heuer, Shelly and of course Mr. P (I doubt he remembers but I met him). We had a LAN at my room where I met Dan Jan, X9, Squiality, JKoop, and Jay. I did not get to meet the pros that I wanted to because I really did not want to bother them. However, I did get to talk to Flamesword who was an amazing person to talk to, even though we talked for like 2 seconds. All of these people are amazing and I thank you TLN community for welcoming me into your website and making my trip to Dallas absolutely perfect!

You guys are the best ever! ;)

I am sorry if I missed anyone else that I met while at Dallas.

At the Nashville combine, I talked with Pistola for a while. Most of it wasen't even MLG talk either, we chatted about music, girls, ect. Pretty cool kid.

I've hung out with a lot of pros and have a bunch on my friend list. I'm not going to give any specifics out of respect but I will say that a lot of them are really fun to talk to. Also, I got to work at MLG Dallas this year and it was an amazing experience. Hanging out with my buds in the pro lounge and watching FB finish off a great weekend was incredible. I got to eat breakfast at a table right next to Puckett and Shibby. They really are that crazy. I also got to enjoy the staff wrap party after Dallas was over sitting at a table with Clap, DMAQ, and Detach with all the other MLG personalities close by. The speeches by Sundance and Sepso were really good and got me very excited for this season. Hopefully I can be a big part of it.
