no one beat the f--k out of anyone here. they grabbed each other's helmet and pushed each other, helmet pushed off, helmet thrown, 1 punch to the back of the head, then missed upper cut (or just a really weak upper cut). it was barely even a fight. not to be a jerk or anything man, just i've seen almost everyone everywhere say "oh he got his a-- kicked", well that didnt really happen

Apparently EA is working on NFL Fight Club now, kidding. On some real though, Andre was throwing haymakers and Finnegan is a turd.

like i said taco, i don't mean to be a jerk by saying that. just i've been hearing from all my friends and seen it on other forums, and god forbid the youtube comment section where i finally watched the video. no wonder why football fans consider it the roughest sport, when they think 1 punch is getting your a-- kicked lol. sorry it's like my biggest pet peeve. all my life i've listened to how tough and rough football is, especially in my high school where they were pretty much a dynasty. now finally i see why, i really don't watch football ever. but either it just isn't that "mean" or it has died down over the past few years. when people tell me football is a harder sport to win at and play then hockey all my life, yes i will have a negative attitude towards it. i could go into my points of why football is NOT tougher and rougher to play than hockey, but no need. this isnt a debate. just stating why i came off like that. nothing personal man

Finnegan must have done more than just play an overly physical game to instigate such a response from Johnson. Gary Kubiak said that he's never seen Andre react in that way to anything in his life. It almost seems like a Zinedine Zidane moment but it's pretty hard to tell.
Interesting to note that neither player received suspensions for their acts. I guess Goodell really puts a lot of emphasis on repeat offenders. Both players did receive $25 for the fight... or what some of you have deemed the "non-fight"
eta: in response to the hockey/football discrepancies - on a football field there are multiple different varieties of football being played. Sure, you wouldn't compare physical toughness between an NFL wide receiver and a NHL player. However, throughout a football game there is an intense battle being waged at the line of scrimmage. As such, I would argue that although hockey may be an overall tougher game, certain individuals in football undoubtedly match that toughness and in some cases surpass it.

lol Taco. AJ ftw, did you see how fast of a punch he threw? Kicking him in the danger zone would be the only way to beat him lol

well in that vid... didn't finnegan throw the first punch which ultimately instigated the fight on that play? shouldn't he have gotten thrown out of the game?

both were ejected.
OT: Finnegan is a joke. He self proclaimed himself the dirtiest player in the NFL. He is just like Sean Avery of the Rangers in the NHL. Both of them can fall in a deep dark hole together, and never find there way out. I hate dirty playes.
Andre Johnson on the other hand is one the more outstanding players both on and off the field. There is only so much one person can take.
