I just want to share my experience with BtR and my tournament experience with the community and why I left BtR to form my own team. I am not here to put anyone down and you can judge me however you may after this blog, but this should be a good read on what happened with this team.

When we decided to pick up Havkin when we were looking for a 4th, I felt like we rushed picking someone up too fast knowing the event was coming up. We ran some customs against the TLNC (Thank you guys so much BTW) and we were winning games with him and he has a good personality and was able to go to Cincinnati, we really didn't get a full read on how good or bad Havkin was as a player before making a decision which when we found out later on caused a lot of tension between the team.

So we finally get to play our first scrimmage as a team and I was having a pretty bad day, but when I got in the game I was just fine. I think we expected to win and when we lost our 3rd game in a row you could tell Magik was pissed. I tried to explain a strategy we could use next time and Cam would just keep interrupting me and just bitch and it got to the point where I was just so pissed I got off mid-practice.

The next day we had a meeting that Allen (Minor) put together to get everything off of our chests about eachother and I was told about how my tone of voice was a big reason behind the whole thing so I just decided to shut up and play and let everyone run the show. I couldn't believe that my tone of voice which they described as still in game mode when I spoke was a reason that Cam be so pissed. I never ever heard of that being a reason why someone could not take constructive critisicm. Anways I just shut up for a few days and during that time in game and out of game Cam non-stop bitched about every little thing that Havkin did, and finally one day after we lost a game when we were down a huge some and I couldn't take it anymore. He was no longer communicating, he was just bitching and I ripped in to him to the point I am sure he either left his TV or muted me. After that I told Minor and Havkin that we had no strategy at all on our team outside of opening strats and we went over what to do on every map and I felt from that point on we got a lot better as a unit, but far from what was needed considering we finally went over strategies two weeks before the event.

The next time we pretty much got on was the Tuesday before the event we got on to practice the maps we had hardly played and we were bad. The random TLNC team was beating us and you can tell it was getting to everyone a little bit. One game in particular though, Magik and I made a push and he didn't make a callout and all I said was just call him out and I have you help and he went on to defend himself and then say Havkin cluttered our communication which is why he didn't make the call out. I couldn't believe that for one he blamed someone else on his team for something so simple and I went to say that it wasn't just that time, but he had problems getting callouts out quickly and when he told me to shut the fuck up all hell broke loose again.

It was pretty much that point I knew that either huge change was going to be made on this team in terms of team changes and attitude issues or I was off this team. I was not having fun which is ultimately what any game is about. I couldn't tell Magik what was wrong with his gameplay without him going off and getting pissed. It was so bad that Allen told me if I had anything to say about Magik's gameplay I had to text Allen and he would tell Cam. I could not believe what I honestly heard. It is nothing against you Allen, it just showed me that he wasn't willing to listen to my input of the game 2 DAYS before the tournament.

Going into this tournament I knew that I was going to very likely end up leaving BtR. There was way too conflict between Magik and I, as well as the tension between Havkin and Magik was there as well. Not to mention I had been looking for other guys to team with after the event as well as Cam. I knew this just because we had went after the same guy. We had hardly practiced as a team and when we did the negative outlook on everything just brought the practice down. This team I was going into Cincy with was not fun to play on and the stress was showing with everyone.

Day before the tournament I had an exam I had stayed up all night for and took it and followed it up with a drive from Toledo to my house. I also found out my friend Cpt. Awesome who I was going down with had to work late so I decided to leave around 5 AM for Cincinnati. Well I was so excited to play I couldn't sleep so I ended up leaving at around 1 AM and showed up at about 4:30 haha. I got as much sleep as I could before the event and at 9 AM I was warming up for my first event ever.

2v2's started and I was playing really well I thought individually, but Havkin and I just wasn't as good as the other teams there and we lost to a team that placed 4th in the 2v2 tournament. FFA started and I didn't get called for the first set of heats, but Allen, Cam, and Taylor all did. They all could not place out into round 2 so I was left as the only one depended on to get into round 2. When I got called into my heat I was called into an FFA with Ogre 2 (who I got to play on the same TV as which was pretty cool), Ninja Secrets (placed 3rd in the FFA tournament) and Luckside (just finished 2nd in 2v2). I had my work cut out to say the least haha. I got to the final minute and was 5 kills out of 4th and was able to get within 1 kill but could not advance leaving us with the 15 seed out of 19 teams.

4v4's finally started and I was pretty pumped to finally put what I brought to the table to the test and we got matched up in a round 1 game against a team that was terrible to say the least. I just wanted to get the series over with and move on. Round 2 was against Offset. The team we had gotten our asses handed to us over and over when we played them. The vibe of our team was we were going to lose no matter because we couldn't win online and that's what happened. After a long break we got matched up against Lethal Injection and I was on the main stream which was sick. I felt I played really well against them in a really good series and we won 2-1 and moved on to play STK which had Ogre 2, Ogre1, Strongside, and Nistic on the team. Again I felt like the team vibe was we were going to lose and I felt Taylor was so taken in by the fact the Ogre's and Side where on the team he was just in awestruck. We quickly lost and that was the end of the road for BtR.

I had to drive home so I left after that so I left following the loss. I did leave feeling like I played really well and that Allen had came to play and so did Cam, I just felt that Taylor did not play well and on the ride home I began thinking about teaming with my long time friend TowelTruckGuy again. After talking to talking to Cam for a bit I told him that I was going to be a package deal with Towel and I got no response for a few days from Cam or Allen so I decided that change was needed. After talking to Itchy and Flash I decided that I was going to team with them as well and as my team stands now it is Me, Towel, Itchy, and Flash. I feel like already early on that I am having fun playing the game again and this team does not have that negative vibe that there was on BtR. We have a lot of work to do yet so we will take any help we can get, but I feel like I know longer have to worry about the individual skill of this team like I did on BtR.

I would like to wish the best of luck to Allen, Cam, and Taylor on whatever they decide to do. I would like to say that Allen you are one of the coolest and nicest guys I have ever had the chance to meet. I have a huge amount of respect for you as a person and for having the ability to deal with what went on on this team and Cam things didn't work out because we just clashed too much. I think that us being on different teams will benefit the both of us as players.

I know this is a lengthy read, but I feel it does a good job showing my side of the experience I had with this team. I am excited with this new team I am on and I can't wait to see what we can do once we start working on things. Thank you for reading and I will see everyone online.
