And yes, I know Anchor 9 is the only map with a remote chance of being MLG playable.

I thought that Tempest could be used for MLG if you forge around with it. I was imagining putting walls around the middle part to make it really small and i think it could be good.

$10 for anchor 9 hmm anyone get this yet and play or mess around in forge there looked to be new structures in tempest and w/e the other map is called (breakpoint i think sounds right) if theres items for forging than this might actually be worth getting

i've heard that MLG might want forged out small maps from tempest or breakpoint. i'd love to make a snowy level.

I'm excited for this map pack. Anchor 9 looks like fun, and finally there will be ACTUAL big team battle maps now... not Invasion maps being played as BTB maps.

there's a playlist for DLC only but nothing is integrated into the regular mm yet

Ive not downloaded it yet, will probably get it done tonight, Not really liking the maps for it, far too many large terrible maps

It kinda sucks that the "expanded forge palette" on Tempest is pretty much the same as Forge World's. It'd be kinda pointless to make a map on Tempest if you could make the exact same one on Forge World which comes with the disc.

I love Anchor 9, i hope MLG really considers it. The other 2 are also good for the 6v6 gametypes it has now.

Just because a map is large... doesn't mean it's terrible. It may possibly be terrible for MLG, but that doesn't mean it's a terrible map. I'm excited for these maps with BTB.

Anchor 9 has potential. Tempest was a surprise i really didn't expect it to play as well as it did. It's like a love child of h2's Relic and h3's Valhalla. Breakpoint is just some btb goodness.

Tempest is the new Forge World, better looking rocks, new cannonmans, and new natural items, its great.

Tempest really doesn't have a lot of area to work around for forging. Most of the place is cluttered with natural rocks.

I think Anchor 9 is worth it though. These maps are now part of the game, so why not get them?

Although this is true, Tempest would be the best map (in my opinion) to build a floating map if your not making a map the size of the Titanic. Reason being is because the items on Tempest if you have not seen them yet, are modified to prevent lag, which is very beneficial when forging a map with no natural geometry.
