With regards to Walshy...I really don't know what to say here. I used to really like the guy. (even with the "candy from a baby" comment). I still respect him as a player, hell he is one of the godfather's of this sport. But I do believe his time has come and gone. I believe he is still playing not because he wants to but because he is sponsored to do so. (let's not forget he's got his own business to run on top of putting in the hours it takes to stay at this level) He might be better suited coaching or up in the booth with Puckett. As I'm typing this I want him to prove me wrong.

I totally disagree. FiS's controller was effed up and that was how they won that one game. So basically they got some extra help there. There is absolutely no way they would have won that.

Carbon could've 3-0'd FB, they took the first game, lost by 1 kill in game 2 b/c SK made a bad push and in Construct king they could've won that game if Soldier and SK played a little better.

SK made a mistake
but that doesn't mean that Chig played any better, Walshy alone was the one who kept them in the game against FB [Sk maybe helped he was playing great, but Chig, and Soldier187 were just bad]

Been reading your posts and i have to agree, Walshy was the driving force for Carbon last year and he was stepping up. Chig and Soldier to me had a 2nd place finish at nationals due to a technical error for TD, they didnt deserve to be there. I aint saying they are bad players, but to expect constant top 8 finishes with those 2 sypher and anarchy is just crazy to me. Especially with the up and coming talent such as Impact, SLu, Invictus and if you look going by seeds Carbon and Darkest hour are also there. Anyone who sees top 8 finished for Classic is crazy in my book, unless they have some info nobody else has.

Disappointing lack of love for Sypher in here. I get what you guys are saying and overall I don't disagree, that lineup doesn't really do it for me, but Sypher is sick. I was loving the SypherSide duo at the end of H3, was sad to see it break up, and if/when Sypher gets on the right team then people will really start to see what a valuable asset he is to any squad, think Victory X before FB. OT: I think Dynasty looks pretty good on paper. If I recall correctly I think they formed not long before the roster lock so I don't know how practiced they'll be. I think it'll be interesting to see how they do. I don't think that they're a potential winner but they could cause some upsets.

I think he's at the point where he really needs to have a good tourney or risk doing exactly that. No team is going to want to have anything to do with him. Hopefully he can step up his game. I hate seeing guys that were once really successful struggling.

First and foremost, lets hope his health recovers. After that, if joining the circuit mid-season means he has to be a FA then thats the way it is. He can still put that work in and try and get on a team in the off-season. As this past off-season showed, teams fluctuate a lot. I don't look for that to change, especially with a brand new game on the circuit.

Now that I've seen Dynasty play a little bit on Ghost's stream I think they'll have a really good chance at pulling some upsets. It seems like they get a lot of quality scrims in against other pro teams. It's obviously not as good as LANing but it's still allowing them to work on strats and communication.

tD Did take it to game 5 against FB at TLN tourney so I wouldn't put them at 8...

tD was kind of inconsistent though. They can take every team to game five if they want but if they don't win game 5 it doesn't really matter. I don't count coming close to winning one series as a reason to place them higher. Plus I'd say all of the teams in my top 6 with the exception of Dyansty have proven to be superior to tD based on LAN scores. I don't doubt that they could get higher but based on what I've seen I would say their chances are not better or even just as good as the teams I placed above them.

I could really see ToTz being dropped for someone who can slay and focus on objective a lot better. Maybe even T2 but I dont see it, I think if FB loses to either Warriors/Active Rush for Top12 or tD/SLU/DoorEqualsGym for Top8 I think Victory would leave and Instinct would be a good option for them.
