This is correct. With clutch and Heinz officially gone, once again for like the hundredth time Dynasty will have to pick Destin back up if they want to keep their seed.

Some sweet team changes going on and a lot of background stuff we don't know about. Going to be quite an interesting week.

It will also be interesting to see not only the name but how the sponsorship deal works out for Instinct if the team is legit.

Anybody else surprised to see all of BTH back together? Now there is the story of all these team changes if you ask me. Horrible season for three of the members, especially Clutch, and Cloud rejoins them especially after all of the controversy of why they split up. They basically did what everybody wanted str8 to do yet no one really is talking about them.

Also, its interesting not seeing soldier on Carbon anymore. That team might be about to get the restructuring its needed.

I love this thread but I think we need to see how the pro's transition to Reach goes. I personally haven't seen a whole ton of Scrim footage apart from the couple streams of Roy/Box/Totz POV's that have been streamed here. Reach is pretty different and certain pro's might be better/worse. With that being said I'm super psyched for the first Reach Lan here at TLN!!

A lot of the Str8 Rippin fans I saw in the forums from Halo 3 highly disliked Instinct (not to mention would bash me because I was a huge fan of Instinct). It'll just be ironic.

I am really interested in seeing how all this plays out. I think that Naded and Legit will pick up some amazing players and really give this a run for the money. I hope that Naded gets a 1st place finish this year. Ever since I discovered MLG Naded has been one of my favorite pros to watch because he has a sick sniper and pulled of many OMG moments.

You know you make a good point here that many people don't seem to see. All of this is to have fun, meet new people, travel, etc.. Winning is always a good thing but what's he point of doing things if your not going to have fun? Also it's cool to see all these teams changes, but most of the time it bites the team in the ass. Yes you guys are going 4,4,4,4,4... but that's being consistent. You build more chemistry with the team you stay with and a better friendship with everyone. Over time the 4 turns to a 2, and that 2 to a 1if your determined enough to win. Another example of this is Final Boss. 50th, 51st, 52nd. Not a single team change. Good luck to you guys btw

If this does happen The Backburners will be a very dangerous team when it consists of Snipedown Naded and Legit they have been playing loads of Reach I can see them placing high in the Dr Pepper 10 k $ 4v4 Ladder

Not to man people know this but ScarVayne is probably one of the best reach players in the game right now. He has really improved his skills since he first started to play Reach. I don't know about Walshy, Aries cAries, or Russo because I haven't played with them yet.

I am wondering who elamite and snipedown will pick up. kinda off topic but I was totally not checking random pros stats or anything... but I saw that elamite has not gone negative once in his recently played customs which impresses me quit a bit.

Walshy is on Secret Society for Gamebattles. I'm not too sure if this is indicative of a new team he will be attending MLG with, but currently the GB team is Walshy, Aries, Scarvayne, Kiddbo Slice and JayDefytronica. I'm not too sure who plays the games for GB or if people are interchangeable, this was like I said off of GB.

Honestly, if Snipedown doesn't get a pro seed for the 2nd event, I think Darkest Hour should drop Twylight and pick him up... and rename the team Perfect Storm.

Snipedown will get on a proseeded team I hope. The way everything was set up though, with top 8 of the reach exhibition getting the 9-16 seeds, some people are going to have to play through AM and knock off some teams.

What annoys me is Carbon still being there as a pro seed. Chig is good, but he is forced to stick with SK to keep that seed, and SK honestly probably won't be any better at Reach than he was at Halo 3.

Str8 Rippin actually cannot be used. Ghost left to join HaE, Naded left to form Perfect Storm, and Defy left as well leaving Tsquared as the last remaining member of Str8 Rippin. This means that he is the only one that can use it even though he joined Instinct.

They will get the Carbon Seed unless Walshy teams back up with SK. However, Walshy is rumored to be teaming with Defy, Aries, and Scarvayne.

As far as what name they will get they could fight for the right to use Carbon, while Dynasty and Classic are all more realistic options.

This also means that a top 8 seed, Dynasty,is gone and SYA is now the 8th Ranked team.

Back Breakers is also an interesting squad which will take the 16th seed, Elamite, Snipedown, Ghost, and APG.

Classic looks pretty sick. It's basically the most successful incarnation of that team but with Destin in place GH057ayame which could give them the slaying power (assuming they all still have similar playstyles to their H3 styles) that they lacked before.

Well, I'd say when Best Man was on the line-up they had the most success but whatever.

Neighbor thought it would be a good decision to keep heinz cause if they kept hysteria, elamite and him would be arguing like the 08-09 Str8 rippin and the 08-09 Triggers down Rival. If they keep heinz then they should be fine with team bonding and chemistry would be great

I find it unlikely that roster lock is Thursday considering no one knows a location or date of the first event.
