Just thought I'd post a bit of constructive criticism just expanding on what was mentioned when we played yesterday.
Geometry
- Overall the layout is really cool, I really like the whole concept of it.
- The layout seems to favour the Green room more than Gold side, possibly because of the Sniper towers proximity to that area. I might be worth considering ways that you could balance it out a bit more. Possibly make Green a bit more enclosed (a la Sword room on Pit), or possibly try to make the Gold side more visible from the Sniper tower, though I don't really know how you'd achieve that.
- The Plat area seems to be a bit too staggered with little steps that require lots of little jumps, it might work better if it was a bit flatter overall with maybe one or two jump-ups on the front.
Gameplay
The gameplay felt really smooth and it felt like there were plenty of options whenever you get into a battle in terms of ways to escape or interesting routes around the map, so no real complaints there. :)
Weapons
- I think there may be a bit too much weapon/AA variety on the map, though it is large map to it wasn't too bad. I think that having a Focus Rifle on a map that already has two Snipers might be a bit of overkill, but as mentioned one Concussion Rifle/Grenade Launcher at Gold would probably work better than a Focus Rifle at Gold and two Concussion Rifles at Green.
- Only a small one, but I don't really think that Evade should be a pick-up now that we have the MLG settings with the faster movement speed, so maybe Hologram instead at Green?
