They have to call themselves Str8 Rippin. they won't have a seed, but do they really need one?
I'd be really bugged if they got the name Str8 Rippin...they don't deserve it.

Not saying they couldn't technically try to claim it. Just that i don't think they should get it.

They will get the Carbon Seed unless Walshy teams back up with SK. However, Walshy is rumored to be teaming with Defy, Aries, and Scarvayne.
As far as what name they will get they could fight for the right to use Carbon, while Dynasty and Classic are all more realistic options.
This also means that a top 8 seed, Dynasty,is gone and SYA is now the 8th Ranked team.
Back Breakers is also an interesting squad which will take the 16th seed, Elamite, Snipedown, Ghost, and APG.
that team could end up being really good

My prediction for after the first event is for DH to drop Twylight and pick up ElamiteWarrior.
is this a confirmed team? I like the name Carbon better but I think there are other people who have more of a right to the name

I really would love to see them bring back the classic seed, and give the team name of carbon to walshy to keep it alive. mlg with only final boss wont feel the same, since str8 doesnt exist anymore and carbon might not be there.
Pretty sure they will keep carbon but know one can say for sure.
I think T2's claim to the name is justified, however MLG probably doesn't want the team name to die since it is so popular and they do deserve it more than any other team I've seen. Personally I want GH057ayame/Karma/Side to reclaim the Carbon name.
Boot Aries and replace him with SK = Carbon seed.

This is going to be such a sick season. I'm glad I'll get to be there in person at all the events!
I'm intrigued to see T2 with Instinct. I thought he really picked up his play towards the end of this past season, and he seemed to have more fire than we'd seen from him in a while. That whole team should have great shots.
Walshy is going to either join 3 nasty players or make a sick squad. He WILL be the best at this game. He was in H1 he was in H2 the two halos that took the most skill. So therefore he will be back on top :)
