Anyone think we should get some throwback games going at events? Perhaps we could corner off a section and run Halo 2 or Halo 3 games or something? Anyone up for it?

The idea is always thrown around but it never happens. I wish there was halo 2 again.
Saratoga Springs is prolly one of the nicest places I have ever been too. The houses in the town are amazing (I love the old style) I already like you :D
Halo 2 would be great!
I thought they were doing something like that. It wouldn't be that hard either. Just set up 2 big TVs and 2 xbox and play h1/h2 on it. would take about 5 sq meters of the venue max.
How bout we play on map remakes on Reach..i have a good version of guardian. and lockout. and beaver creek. we could run some stuff on those. like. oddball on guardian. sounds fun =]
it would be cool, but it would be hard to get enough equipment and space to run tournaments in more games than they have. i don't see why they can't have like 1 or 2 stations for h1 or h2 just for fun.
I think a big problem with H2 is that you cant get the XBL updates so its all pre patch and plays completely different that what we remember from the last years of H2, I know thats why MLG doesn't ever do throwback stuff for it
if that happened, then walshy would actual be on fire at events again, and ogre 2 would still be ogre 2 when it comes to reach, 3, 2, and 1, why cant that be for walshy and strongside also? if walshy and strongside were still beasts at halo 3 then the dynasty still would've continued =[
they did this in raleigh. after the event they broke out halo 1 and 2 disks
i got to play on the main stage (halo 1) and i teamed with shockwave, puckett, and shibby
it was so epic lol
it doesn't make sense that they wouldnt do something like this... maybe like a five dollar entry fee just for lol's just a small pot to compete for or no money at all that works too
