2011 Event Location Discussion

Mrs. P dont be a dream killer lol i live 15 mins from St. L lol heck i live like 4 and a half hour from y'all so lets fight for a Chi town or a St.L cuz i need a cheap Event lol i have never been to a PRO event just a Combine and an NGL event and i have followed MLG religously since 2004 lol 7 years no pro event

Well Im just saying..... and of course ANYTHING can happen, you never know. I too would LOVE an event in either place as well.And wow, you gotta go to an event!!! Pro events blow away combine's. This will be your year!! Is it possible for you to drive to Dallas or maybe Columbus?? If you had to??

id like to but sadly im in the same boat as everyone else with little money to spend... and trust me seeing the main stage is a dream and stepping foot on to it was like my life long goal when i got into MLG to just walk on to the main stage lol its kinda like the biggest dream of my life and now im 20 and im still pretending im like 14 and one day will play with T2 lol cheesy yes i know but still people need something to stride for MLG helped me through finding about my Heart disease (mitral valve prolapse) and my Blood disease (von willebrand's) and TLN helped when my family and i had a falling out and i lost my future wife... so my life has been a little hard to attend an event but i have never missed a live stream for all 7 years. and i hope your right Mrs. P i hope this is my year every year that passes my heart gets a little more excited for the chance to step into an event lol i use to dream about them... (not lying sad i know) i would lay in my bed and commentate the matches and pretend i was there some people wanna play baseball or basketball or become president or a important figure me i just wanted to play on the main stage at an MLG pro event. now i just wanna see the main stage. and meet T2 (i already met your son one night on xbox him and i talked for a while he added me to his friends list for a bit and promised me a Autograph and a photo at the combine I should so post that photo) so yeah im trying to get a stable job after losin mine due to missing to much work from illness (i had Mono and a Kidney stone in 2010) and pay for an event cuz im just getting to anncy i need an event or ima go crazy lol... im 20 years old with a crazy life story that pretty much revolves around Crappy things that happened and how MLG made the diffrence in my life. hey i should write a novel maybe MLG will fly me to an event then LOL!

and people im sorry for bringing my life problems into TLN but hey everyone has a story and im here cuz MLG, TLN and all the people here that care about me help me push through the struggle and i could repay you back for all the respect and kindness you show towards me and everyone else

Ok guys so here it goes.......This is my UNOFFICIAL , just personal opinion.

There will not be a meadowlands, Las Vegas, Chicago, St. Louis, or DisneyWorld


There most likely will be:
1. Dallas (Opener)
2. Columbus, Oh (not necessarily second, but likely)
3.Raleigh, NC
4. Somewhere, Ca. (?)- not sure, attendance is not usually great there.
5. Wash. DC
6. Orlando, FL.

That being said, I would LOVE more then anyone to have a Chicago event!
Actually, even St. Louis, Mo. But from what I understand because of our crappy "Union's" it will maybe, never happen here.
Meadowlands, yes too small. Their out.
Orlando, will happen probably this year, but not at Disney again. They always have great attendance in Florida.
They did have a Nashville Combine, it was the first of the combines, anthony was lucky enough to have been asked to work it.
Not a huge fan of Dallas, like it. But theres nothing in walking distance, no food, nothing, besides "Denny's". There is a fabulous mall but its a 20 minute cab ride.

If we have one again in Orlando i say we all get together and have a TLN dinner out or something that Friday or sat night i am actually going to request those days off work just so i can make it ( i live in Orlando so if you want to come but cant afford a place let me know your more than welcome to crash here ) also i suggest dinner cause my wife wants to know who the hell i am always talking to on this fourm lol

It happened. 2010 Opener was in DisneyWorld. Idk why it failed because I didn't go, but sounds like it's back to the other venue they used (which happens to be within 10 miles of DisneyWorld.
